Funding all by yourself for your study with part time job is very very difficult if not impossible. It depends upon what kind of part time jobs you hook up with. Usual part time jobs like kitchen hand or room service or cashier will not be enough for you to fund your studies and yourself. There are no scholarship for international students in most of the Australian Universities. On the top of that if you are in University you will not have enough time to work outside. So plan accordingly. Don't just jump intot he wagon. Seek family support.

Sorry, I am not in Australia any more. I spent 2 long years in Australia but couldn't make it to the University. So I left Australia quietly as I got great opportunities in USA. I don't know any web site like Sajha from Australia but I am very sure that there must be many Sajha users who live in Australia.

It all depends upon your priority and what you are doing now in USA. Here are my thoughts on this.
If you are studing here in USA I will NOT recommend you to quit your study and go to Australia.
If you have h1 B and really want to go to Australia for good, then I would recommend you to apply for Australian PR.
If you are financially well and you do not see any opportunities in US then you can certainly invest those finance in your study in Australia for your better future. It is easy to get Australian PR if you have degree from Australian University. After all at the end everybody looks for status no matter where you decide to settle.
Lastly if you are not doing anything productive here in USA then you can try Australia. However studying in business colleges in Australia won't do any good apart from maintaining your legal status. These days getting Australian PR with degree from mushrooming business college is difficult.
I have heard lot of good to bad things about nepalese in Australia. Couple of my friends are good chefs in restaurants and few of them are also running some fast foods. On the other side many are just surving day to day.
What I think is it is all individual hard work and luck.

anon - did you apply Aus PR while you are in H1B in states? If so , how much H1B help you in your process and how long did it take to complete the process? Also, you said you did on your own, what we were the reqd. documents, if you could provide list of them or more links for it , that would help me and others.
Thanks,
