As i have heard of this movie so much, when the accident of Madan bhandari happened i was so small. So i was eager to watch this movie online. As i found it today so sharing with you guys just enjoy . I am watching now.

I watched this movie paying $20. I think movie is good, i simply loved it. Its kind of documentary but presented differently.


Please donate some money to the producer whoever watched online since they lost money making this movie.

just a thought, you don't have to agree with me though .. personal thought ...

Here are some of my thoughts:

The movie as a whole is really, really good. I loved the actors, cinematography, attention to details, even dialogues which are left to be desired in most Nepali Movies. Two thumbs up! Perhaps other filmmakers will follow in these footsteps.

The content is also good. However, towards the end it seemed like the writer took the leaf right out of beautiful mind. So, I did not quite understand  the flow in the movie : from search for truth which was very interesting as it unfolded to the ending of the investigator in the mental asylum  Felt it was a bit weak.  

My biggest concern, however, if the movie is trying to pursue the truth, fails at its biases in taking peoples' views as anecdotal evidence. For instance: the shopkeeper, the doctor all giving their views on why the money was not wet, why the driver wasn't more hurt? How simple deviance of a person's personality pre- and post- the accident and any deviance from natural occurrence is taken as concrete evidence. If the movie is trying to portray this very essence of our society, where every person wants to be expert in everything and love the conspiracy theory, then it has succeeded :).

Of all the evidence presented, the case of poisoning would probably be the most convincing for me. However, this was hardly brought up in the movie or investigation. Perhaps this is where we should start if someone wants to reopen the case.

The movie had some great inspiration from the " a beautiful mind". blackboad scene etc. 

Hmm did the producers lost money ? I think the movie was given "special status" by the Nepal government and they released the movie way ahead of normal ques. 
Hmm ....

Great Video....Excellent acting by nepali actors. This is the first time i have ever called a Nepali Movie a good movie. This makes me believe there are some people who can actually make good movies in Nepal.

Pros
- good movie based on history and for future generations to see.
- good acting
- no songs?
- no dancing?
- some scenes - inspired from hollywood (rather than bollywood)
- daring to show some facts
- great that it was able to pass the censor

cons
- very long
- focussed more on Amar Lama than other people behind him. I can understand this part as it will be hard to pass through the censor board and the risks involved in associating others.
- nothing much is shown about the strikes, bandhs (if I remember correctly some people lost their lives while asking the resignation of Girija) that followed after the accident.
- not much is shown about his personality, defeating the Bhattarai and 'Tanakapur'
- nothing is shown about his family and no interviews from UML (may be they didn't succeed to get these)
- didn't talk much about conspiracy theories that's been flying around.
- the central character is made as that investigator officer (who probably never existed) than Madan Bhandari
- they probably could have shown some real footage from the events that followed after that.
