Nepalese never learn, Just wanted to enjoy a nice eve with nepalese folks, but few rotton eggs always seems to spoil the event. Why?? When will they ever learn?? I guess never!!

i agree but you have to credit the security and organizers for having most of it under control.  One fight is nth.  Imagine over 500 ppl in one place with so much alcohol infusion...one fight is nth. 

overall good summerfest but the crowd was very young....not that i mind but saying for ppl 30+ summerfest is not your gig

no sanug, i meant if you come come to summerfest be sure to meet and greet and young peeps :-) . DC/VA team did a great job..also heard few ppl were caught doing seto and g ?

- The momo was bad. It was semi-hot and not tasty at all.
- The dinner for $10 was horrible. I was served rice, some vegetable and masu ko jhol. They said masu is finish and gave me one samosa. For $10 we can get better variety and tasty food at indian or chinese buffet.
- Unplugged night was good although not more than 200 people I think. Dj night on friday was joke. Hardly any people.
- Dj nitght on saturday was not bad. I think over 500 people were there and enjoying. I heard someone say a fight nearly broke out near bar area. I had fun this night.
- I went to one forum room and there was 4-5 people.  
- On concert night I like band Ayurveda. When Raju Lama come on stage, less than 200 people were there. Some people got bored since he was singing slow songs and left hall.
- I just entered Dj night and in few mins it got stopped. We had to leave hall before event was over. I heard some fight start in lobby. I asked some people around and they said fight was for some girl. It was three guys beating one guy. 
- In summary, I don't think this event was any good quality. It was same like ANA event. I think ANA events are bigger and better than this.I am not big fan of ANA but I am telling what I have seen with my own eyes.
- Next year I will not attend sumerfest. It was waste of money and time.

ओहो मासुको झोल मात्र पाइयो?

यो कुराले मलाई मेरो बाल्यकाल सम्झायो ..

हिजो आज त ठाँउ हेरी गाउँघरमा पनि शहरीया पाराले भोज खुवाउन सुरु भइसक्यो; तर आज भन्दा बीस बर्ष अगाडिको स्थिति अर्कै थियो । बिहेमा जन्ती जाँदा बारीको पाटोमा टुसुक्क बसेर भत्तेर खाइन्थ्यो । दुई चार जना बाहुनबाजेहरु धोती सोती फेरेर भत्तेर पकाउथे र जन्तीहरु चाँही बारीको पाटामा लहरै बसेर खान्थे । अरु दुई चार जना बाहुनहरु चाँही खाना बाँड्दै र थप्दै हिड्थे । अनि त्यस्तो भत्तेरमा जन्तेबाख्रो भनेर मासुको पनि व्यवस्था गरिन्थ्यो । त्यो मासु पकाउदा त्यसमा सबै जन्तीलाई भाग पुर्याउन झोल पनि टन्न हालिएको हुन्थ्यो । अनि मासु बाँड्न ल्याउँदा चाँही कस्तो हुन्थ्यो भने यदी त्यो मासु बाँड्ने मान्छे आफूले चिनेको छ अथवा भान्छेहरुलाई आफूले चिनेको छ भने चाँही भागमा टन्न मासु पर्थ्यो यदी चिनेको छैन भने चाँही झोलै झोल । कोही कोही भने त्यस्तो धाँधली भएको देख्दा 'झोल चौटा बराबरी' भनेर कराउथे । तर पनि धेरै जसोको भागमा झोल नै पर्थ्यो, एक दुई टुक्रा मासु बाहेक । अनि फेरि खाने त त्यही सालको टपरीमा नै हो । मासुको झोल भातमाथि खन्याए पछि त्यो झोल भातलाई अलि अलि भिजाउदै त्यसबाट पार भएर टपरीको पिधबाट पनि चुहिदै सब बारीको पाटामा पुग्थ्यो । अब बाँकी भनेको अलि अलि मासुको झोलले भिजेको भात र त्यसमा रहेको मासुको बास्ना । अनि त के गर्नु ? यही पनि पाइयो भन्दै सप्र्याक सप्र्याक पार्नु बाहेक गर्न नै के सकिथ्यो र ?
