My younger sister got married to white guy. He is dashing, handsome and understanable. He likes nepali culture and food. He is very much in love to my sister and we had a small occasion and ceremony in kathmandu and got married in Nepalese style i kathmandu. Now they have a cute baby and I also like a baby vey much.
What should I gift to him whenever he comes to kathamndu?
Should I hang around with him since he is my jwaii though he is more aged than me?
Does white guy ever feel shy?

Good to hear such successful story. GoodLuck to you and your sister.
My suggestion: Just be yourself. Dont try to be extra cautious or over polite. Be straight and normal.
Gift idea: Any Nepalese souvenir items.

They don't feel shy but they will not understand nepali style jokes which we love a lot. There are  lot of things which you cannot say to him directly. They will start feeling bullying. There is a big cultural difference.

I second no more crush. Just be yourself.

I am curious. Why is it a blessing in disguise? Why not just a blessing?

"Does white guy ever feel shy?"

Loved this question. Gotta ask my white friends.

You wil be Borat in front of American jwai if you try to be who you are. Or you pretend to know american culture. hahahaha
American Society is an individualistic society. Just me me and me. Nepali society is me and my family.

American society looks rich from outside with nice house and car but might  be poor from inside (lots of credits to pay).

100% agreed with NAYAPIDI that american culture is all about me me and me. My friends dont want their own parents in house,,

I would be surprised if your jwai is half as interested as you are with being entertained by you. Be careful if you have sisters around,

My uncle is married to a Chialean Girl. She hated nepali food, but loved MOMOS. So take your jwai to good places to eat.

i don't think just marrying a foreigner is a blessing in disguise but if she's really married to a person who loves her and respects her family then yes it's a nice thing and that could happen even with a Nepali.

Just chat with him the way you would talk to a Nepali jwai. Don't try to be somebody else or you'll look like a fool to him.
