I just decided to end my membership in my area's Nepali "Organization" 'cuz of some shyte and I was wondering how much of a desire there is for people who are from Nepal but love America just as much to form their own organization.

Let me know, let me know. I need some revenge and some new hobbies.

Some reason, I agree with you.

I found that Nepalese Organization in America mostly carried out personal or private interest rather than support to Nepal. Nepalese in America, has Zero interest for motherland Nepal. We heard big talks from Nepalese Organization of America but there were no true evidence of supporting Nepal. Yearly Nepalese Conference or Annual Meeting is a big propaganda and party of Nepalese Organization in America. I heard Nepalese Organization already evolved in some form of corruption. Somebody needs to blow the Whistle in America.

It is coz of people like u Nitu.
We are a great complainers but a bad do-ers.
Why don't you start something, doesn't have to be a big time organization.
There are plenty other organizations which are not all wishy-washy.

I do not want some global unification army. I just want to be able to chat with, and count as my friends, some Nepali people who are a little bit here and a little bit there. Or a lot of both! Or either! I want you all!

You can have all of your work,pictures and everything that you do in Nepalese organizations websites if you are a son or daughter of the president.

Not only that first they say we all Nepali and when you get together they start talking bad about other brothers and sisters in other languages.

No one realize that this is not Nepal.

I am dissapointed and frustrated as well by the lack of initiative that these 'Organizations' are promoting. Also it's sad to see the cultural and ethnic exclusivity that some of these organizations are taking part in. Why are we not comming together as Nepalis first? Del, I would support an 'organiztion' that keeps away from all the usual politics and promote, at the least, some positive and creative dialoge among well-wishers of Nepal. I think anyone who has love for Nepal and no patience for conventional wisdom would support such a cause. We don't need women in bakinis, actually that would deminish the lagitimacy of the cause, just a platform for inventive ideas.

is it really that bad? i'm really dissapointed! as nepalis we're reknown for our honesty and courage! they are really spoiling this reputation! what a shame! i fully support u del!
