A little frustrated with the sound system "as usual" - and very upset that it was not live band - sing along - hehheheh that is sad any blowjoe can sing along hey don't get me wrong the singers were good. Oh well - But all the drinks made up for the night.

why would anyone bother to pay for a karaoke night??

That is what I was talking about shraddha - it was okay but I would pay more money to see nepali singers sing if it was live. Few bands before them came and played live like 1974AD they were great - you see the art on that - singing in the music as you mentioned karaoke style - that was pitty.... OH well, I was there till 12 and then I heard a fight broke - typical nepali party. Hope we see more Bands live rather then sing alongs...

Even I'm not an exception. In fact when I was in school in Michigan. I busted an Indian and his drunk dude. Berrien County Sherrifs were at the scene. It was just after 9/11 and the guy I busted was a Musliml. I was let go after some questioning. It was a funny scene..ha ha ah

now does anyone know about harish mathema and the group?? Where are they now and what cities are they touring?? Heard they were pretty good.

Probably Harish Mathema and his dudes are lost somewhere in the mid-west or somewhere in the north-west US.

Hope they could come to Toronto.

Fights happen in other places as well at parties, at bars specially during weekends.

It's just not at Nepalese parties and gatherings.

Hey, does anybody know if Deepak Bajracharya is coming to the US? I think he is better than any of these airey-gaireys. I would go see his concert, but only if he comes with a live band. Can't believe people pay $30 each to see Karaoke concert.

Definitely want to see Harish M, he is a good nepli rocker, like his western nepali rock style. Can't wait lets get them here immediately in DC - BUT NO FIGHTS GUYS NO FIGHTS WE WILL DO LOTSA DANCE AND LOTSA RUM & COKE>
