Turbulence, You might have a point there. One of my friends pointed this pic and asked my opinion since I work with photoshop a lot. This was just my opinion. But then again you can't rule out that it was manupulated. It's an iffy situation at best.

Turbulance, I usually support your point. But, this time, you are wrong. I am sure it is photoshop even if it is published or not.

The Nepali Post is a Kathmandu based newspaper and so is its website. It is obvious, no open organization/newspaper will not dare to fabricate this type of picture in the present situation of Nepal. I do not see any reason to be suspicious or in confusion about it.

Why does the text has to be aligned in the first place? It could be placed right on top of gyane's face and still be valid. And the photo could have been made digitally in photoshop but later printed on paper and taken out on the street for protest. My point here is before you make any printout, you have to go through a computer as far as I understand. I don't think any publication would lie about such big issue.

nepalipost has always been an anti king organization. I wouldn't be surprised if that image was made up.

Guys, Sometimes the newspaper show king and girija shaking hands together; it doesn't mean that that's real. It is just a computer animation. So, the picture is not real. If it was, and if they were all Nepali people, they probably would be writing those things in Nepali also, but not only in English.

Yup.. Photoshop work. Very simple reason. check out the placards with hitler and Gynae's picture. The color intensity of sign "=" is deeper than the other texts. The "Most Wanted Criminal" is not aligned with the edge of the picture.... Now don't tell me that the printed separately the texts and pasted over the picture. And also note that the color intensity of the picture is so dim compared to the texts!!!

One other reason to ponder whether it is done by photoshop is if you look at the placard, the border of the while paper and the letters do not seem to align properly (the border of the paper is not parallel to the letters); unless after printing the paper, it was cut. Anyway, tell me which media is free and fair? Not even nepalipost, run by commies.

Turbulance is the Propaganda Czar for the Maoists ala Hilter's Goebbels. Last time I checked Nepali-Post was a DC based Nepali web-zine. The paper is known for its anti-monarchy agenda.

Interesting observations. But whether it was doctored or not, I still hate Gyane!! But I do respect the views of people who like King Gyanendra. That's what democracy is all about; People have different opinions. :D

I could feel sense of nervousness and trauma of kids of corrupt Army Generals, Shahs, Ranas, corrupt bureaucrats and madales living in the outside world. You could start cry losers, Nepali people have already started to countdown the last day of corrupt feudal from Nepal. History of Romania is repeating in Nepal in near future.

This is the work of Photoshop. The equals sign is too dark and the words most wanted criminal does not line with the photo of the king. I cannot believe that Nepali sites have gone below journalistic ethics to tarnish someone's image. Someone should produce the original high resolution image so that the image be judged for authenticity. The lack of which shows what it's worth.
