One company is talking to me about a job in Richmond, VA. They will pay me about $8000 more in salary than what I am making here in TX. They will cover my relocation etc. I was wondering if there are any Nepalese living there as well as how is the real state market out there. Let's say how much a 1800-2000 sq feet house will cost in a nice neighborhood.

Thx in advance

WHO?? OOK...
Thanks for the response. I am flatterred to read that there are 3000 in Richmond only! WOW. It looks like not a big city though... But any way if someone can give some light on real state prices I will appreciate.
I looked online and saw 2000 sq. ft. house for 350K. Here in TX same house can be found in about 220-250 or even less.
I am wondering if I should further talk with the company.??

I am not sure if it is hard to find a job in Richmond or not.I have been working in IT industry for 6/7 years I don't have problem finding a job. After doign some more research I think I am going to back out from this deal.

Don't mess with Texas... eh!

Try to contact Mahesh Shrestha who lived in Richmond and moved to Dallas. He's very active in the Nepalese community in Dallas.
