Here is the roadmap proposed by the 7 parties (source - http://ia.rediff.com/news/2006/apr/24nepal5.htm?q=tp&file=.htm) : Will he give in and hopefully save the country from more chaos? 1) The King will have to announce the restoration of Parliament of 2005. 2) Multi-party government accountable to Parliament will be formed. This government will last for a very short tenure of probably a month or less. 3) That restored Parliament will, on the very first day, announce the declaration of intent to have election of Constituent Assembly without setting the time-limit. Also, importantly, Parliament in the same session will invite the Maoists to debate issues pertaining to the Constituent Assembly. Although in the past, Maoists have twice been invited for talks, this time there is an agenda to discuss the issue of Constituent Assembly with them, said Sitaula. 4) The interim government wil be formed with the Maoists on board. 5) The interim government sets in motion a process to elect the Constituent Assembly. The SPA believes that Maoists should agree to this schedule.

This DHAINSE king will sound as when he had announced the municiple election will take place. There is no need to worry about, all the terrorism has been down to petty crimes. I doubt if it's anything better than this. There is no hope from this blood suker.

I'm sure Nepal can't wait to see Girija as a PM again. This is what the people are fighting for and now this is what they will get. What a delighting news!! I bet its all worth it: shutting down the country for 3 weeks, sacrificed lives, protest from millions of people, worries, tensions, international attentions and so on. All the problems will be solved now. After all, our life-saver is coming back to help us again – Girija Prashad Koirala. What a pity!!

I hope the king agrees to the SPA proposal. Hopefully that would bring all the conflicts to an end. Making Girija PM won't solve the problem.

I feel Girija Koirala should refuse the PM post if offered. Unfortunately, I doubt he will do it. However, this movement , to me, is not about two people - Girija or Gyanendra - but rather it is about two political systems. Gyanendra may be the more astute and smarter of the two, but the system Girija proposes is in my opnion, better suited to take Nepal into the future than the one Gyanendra proposes.

King is reviving the desolved house. He will stil have power to desolve later on his will. I will not accept that. The minimum right now has to be constitutional assemply election. After that what peple have to say will be valid.

yea, did he apologised for killings? Did he regret for what he did? Did he vow to go back to his cell and never come back again? I don't think that people are going to be happy.

Still, he is just trying to diffuse the protests sending the speech tape at 11:30pm. Anyone can understand that mentality. He will do everything to loot the country. He has more options than parties because of armies.
