Don't do it at any cost. I don't see any reason why they need your social security card to complete a transaction. Don't do it, next they might ask your date of birth, then I can become you and live happily forever...

Don't need to fax your SSN..I did register at muncha house and never have to give my ssn or bank statement...

Do not fax you SS card at any cost. Peoplecan misuse it in various ways you can't even imagine.

Dude, simply use THAMEL.COM, best site to send money. I recently send money back home using thamel as i always did, no problem at all. All u need to do is u need to send a void check to them for verification if u r a first time user. I have send money through thamel.com many times and always reliable. Use it.

raute,Why r u taking risk? Just go to any bank that you have account and simply do wire transfer.It just costs $30.

Well, muncha will say it is a free transaction and than you will realized that they will take your $50 if you do not drictely send the money from your checking acount. Well, I used that service once and they charged me $50 only I was using my cr. card to send money to Nepal. I would rather use Western Union than muncha and also I forgot if they asked my SSN I think they did but I am not sure, but do not fax your SSN card at all. Well, they gave me call a phone call right after they got the info and stuffs to make sure I am the right person and stuff which is good too.

washington mutal (Wamu) ma account cha bhane sittai ma jati paisa patha ni huncha , wire transfer bata nepali bank ma. Its free of cost and u can send how much ever u want to. So open up an account thats free of cost n there will b no problem sending money.

last week i send money from muncha.com. i dont need to give my ssn but they verifiy my information by callin gme. my parents got MONEY ON TIME. it was my first transcation and was by check card they didnt charged me a penny , and service was also good
