Hey guys! Do you think Cosmic Air is safe enough? I need to fly to Bhairahawa, from Delhi. So, I am thinking to take flight to KTM and then to Bhairahawa, and one of the options I found is Cosmic Air. Any suggestions would be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I flew from Cosmic Air 2 years ago from Delhi to Kathmandu. It was very safe. The only negative thing I can come up, is that the flight was not in time when I left for Kathmandu from Delhi, and returning back to Delhi My flight was at 16:00 but We got the information that the flight was candled at 22:00 It was a Christmas eave, and we got to spend night at Everest hotel. It was fun. I had a connection flight from Delhi on Sunday so luckily I had set my return date 2 days before just in case, otherwise I would have missed my connecting flight. Well It was a long time ago, and things may have changed for good or hopefully not for bad. Good luck anyway.

What is more important for you, safety or time?I share some personal relationship with Cosmic Air......The crew of Cosmic is awesome....they have the best people from the aviation industry..so forget about the adminstration stuffs....when you are in air...you are in the most safe hands........Trust them...and take them.....and the airline itself is blessed by Khaptad Baba....lets not talk about the investment and the investors....a long long interesting story...so just go ahead..but be sure that in any case you will not miss ur connecting flight..... Happy Flying!U really make me remember those good old times..the beautiful memories of my life....the calls I used to get rite before the take off and rite after the landing...................the radio..the informal talks inside the cockpit and the radio...teasing each other with nicks in the radio.......................listening to the communication thru scanner in the middle of the nite.....Wow!................... I miss those days............

Kohinoor, do you have any idea why two out of the four Fokker 100 aircraft have been sitting around Kathmandu airport without engines since many months? Also, are the delays that other posters mentioned caused by the fleet being just half the size?

For some Cosmic mite be the best!!! ;-) For me, nahhhhhhhhhhhhh!! I ld neither fly with 'em nor would suggest anyone to do that. Myself being involved with the aviation industry for a while, learnt a lot!! ( * plz read between the lines!*) Their crew members are friendly, but.... I don't really know abt the fokker planes, but the SAAB they had was a total junk!! Go for Buddha Air, but yeah u won't find their customer service praise worthy. But their PLANES (thts wht we r concerned rite?) are good for sure!!

Okay,With Cosmic Air... I am talking abt cockpit crew, neither the ground staffs nor the technical ones....and yeah Arnico lets not talk abt the fleet of aircrafts...the grounded ones and all that.... May be you should make ur postdoctoral reasearch on the condition of different airports in different part of the country.. I dunno what is the situation of poor Fokkers now..but last time the shock was damaged...and u know well when the shock gets damaged..... And yeah Beechcraft may be the Jag.Twinotter may be the landrover....but you always need an expert hand to handle these babes... And yeah of course there is no such thing which can overcome our treacherous dadas....the foggy and windy weather and the dangerous airport where they have to land and take off everyday.... I have already lost many loved ones in Nepalese sky...so just don't want to loose anyone anymore.... Happy Flying everybody!...
