I am planning to go to Malaysia from Nepal and then to travel surrounding areas of Malysia (preferably Thailand) for 3 weeks. Can anyone suggest me the best places to visit and stay iin Malaysia and Thailand. What will be the best route from Nepal? I would prefer a very relaxing holiday as this will be my Honeymoon Trip. Guys please give me a genuine idea as this is my first trip to far east. Many Thanks.

Getting Thai visa shouldn't be a problem, and I don't think Malaysia will be a problem either. Start from Bangkok - spend a day or 2 there and head to places like Chiang Mai. After Chiang Mai, go to Karabi and Phuket. From Phuket you can easily go to Singapore, spend a a few days there from there go to Malaysia (very easy travel). In Malaysia look around KL, Penang and kotaKinabalu. If you only want to restrict yourself to Thailand and Malaysia the easiest way will be start from Bangkok. Then fly from Bangkok to KL using AirAsia (you should book it online before leaving and you can get some really amazing deals for Bangkok to KL flights). I do suggest you go to S'pore as well. You can really get great deals for S'pore. For example hotel (2 nights/3days) and ticket (return) for a person is about $100. If you are going to be in Bangkok, look me up :-), I have been here for past 1 year (moved here from Ireland/England) and won't ever dream of moving back to Europe again. Post your email address and i will mail you up. Cheers Brat

Thanks a million Brat. is that $100 deal is from BKK? I will definately want to visit singapore if I can get that deal. What about the visa for singapore? can I apply once I am in BKK or I need to apply beforehand? As I am living in London and going to 3 different place for visa is a headache, as I need to take 3 days off which I cannot afford to do that, I am using all my entitle holiday during my visit to far east, 3 weeks in Thailand + Malaysia and 2 weeks to Nepal.

You don't need visa for Singapore. If you can't make it to three different places, then scratch Malaysia out. Singapore and Thailand are better. $100 a deal is from Bangkok. You can find it there as well I believe. Check out the web site of Singapore airlines. Yeh been working in Thailand nowadays. Used to be in Ireland/Scotland. Cheers
