Be it kings autocracy, loktantra, or republic system; Nepal will not be able to rise an inch if the same political players with little or no academic background get chance to rule us.By this time, we have myriads of personalities with good education, and a good heart to serve the country.So why not to put pressure to include provision in the new constitution to bar the uneducated politicians from registering in the parliamentarian election?
So let us make the following proposals:
1. At least bachelor degree pass to be a candidate for parliamentary election
2.At least masters degree pass to be a minister

People, remember academic qualification doesn't necessarily guarantee quality leadership. And one's intelligence is not measured by how far he has gone in studies, but by how much understanding he has of nature, life, body, mind and soul. A good leader doesn't need to be literate, he just needs to be wise and able.

I had read this thread yesterday, but was silent.... aajha Nepali leh dukha payeko eeuta video clip herepachi, i cannot stop writing....


first of all, hami yaaha sajha mah kaarayerah huncha ??? will it make any difference ???

next ...as Imi and Sujanks has mentioned, it is not degree...( degrees are just like dog's tag...kukur ko ghati mah jhundauneh tag ho)

the main important thing is knowledge and wisdom...the ability to judge wisely and make some solid decision .... degree makes NO difference....

Bro, President huna ko lagi, Ph.D chaiyo hare?? What about honorary Ph.D's? Cats these days flaunt them as though they really passed through the rigors of a full-fledged Ph.D course.

As for me, I think public-speaking aptitude, exceptional rational thinking and fearless along with a Bachelors would be enough for any ministerial/prez position, except for Minister of Finance...For this, a Ph.D is an absolute necessity.
