Prashant did decent singing by improving 100% re.... according to ANU

prashant sang ok! anu said 100% improvement from last gala but still nothing so great like emon,amit and ankita!

emon : is pyar ko main kya naam doon? (mujhe kuch kehna hai) great comments!
ankita : suraj hua madham (k3g) great comments from anu and javed sahaab and good comments from alisha and udit!
amit : pehla nasha(jo jeeta wohi sikander) great comments! udit went on stage and sang with him!
parleen : meri khayalon ki malika! judges said outstanding singing but not flawless!
abhishek : roop tera mastana! good but not great!
chang : chehra hai ya chand khila hai? good but again not great


deepali, puja got negative comments! both of them did not sing properly!

That implies that even before the results are announced for the previous gala, the contestants would have already performed for the next gala
That means the song Charu sang after she got ousted by the Janta, was the song she had already performed for the gala(which would be televised this friday)...i think in that performance CHARU sang really extraordinary and was very well received by the judges..may be that is the reason she found it really difficult to digest the fact that she got voted out or even fixed out!
JUST MY THOUGHT

Sahayog ....i already answered your questions there ...but anyway if others are also confused ...well this is what i feel.... i think the next episode shooting is done at the very day when the results for voting is disclosed...remember the voting is closed by 8 am or so...and i think they then shoot the elimination round somewhere in the afternoon along with next episode...and people who were present in that day disclose the information ..............that's how it works i guess ....

It is really surprising that the episode is being shot one week in ahead...but seeing the probable busy schedule of judges...they plan to do everything in one day shot... I too agree with Ardent about the shootting time...i guess they shoot some where around noon for the result and complete the shooting for next Gala the same evening..and Rubaru is not a big deal as no judges are present for it so they may do it the previous evening or the same evening...

saathi haru, I started watching this Indian idol thing this morning and watched last few l episodes now.

I do not understand why all you people are supporting Prashant. In my opinion, he does not deserve to be in there. His songs are often out of सुर and 'feelings', in musical terms.

Indian idol is a Joke in terms of singing anyways (at least compared to saregamapa). So who cares. Prashan't got a good voice and maybe if he wins, he will learn sur and taal from the Gurus.

Tell me one thing bro, who in Indian idol is a really strong (singing) contestant compared to contemporary singers and of course saregamapa singers. They all belong to the same ballpark. Emon or Puja may have a better knowledge of Sur, but they aren't that great compared to other singers either. And further their performance is not stable at all. One week they are doing extraordinary and the other week they suck!! And the fact that they only sing a couple of lines vs saregamapa where they sing the whole song, the whole thing is a big joke.

So forget who's deserving and who's not and vote for Prashant.

BTW Prashant, if you're reading this, then you gotta stop smoking $hit, like Anu Mallik said. I can almost tell you're either on weed or else alcohol.

OK here is the latest full update of GALA -5 by a person present in that episode...he also have his own judgement.....LOL...


show starts with a group song "signal pyar ka signal (bhagam bhaag)"
then 1st singer emon : is pyar ko main kya naam doon? (mujhe kuch kehna hain)
anu mallik, javed akhtar, alisha, udit narayan praised him a lot and bottom line
was : "outstanding and flawless singing"
my opinion : it was very good singing and correct singing just like any other
professional playback singer.
puja : kya gaya yeh abhi tak yaad nahi aa raha hai! extreemly sorry! enjoyment
mein yaad hi nahi raha! comments yaad hain: there was a long discussion about
her performance! judges said that it was not good! anu ji said that he wants a
girl to become indian idol but with this kind of performance it will be very difficult
for her to go ahead.
puja's reasons for her bad performance : the song is very tough and there is no
for breath and so she couldnot sing it at one go!
then hussain and mini asked her;" is there something thats troubling
you"?
puja answered: thats a secret
judges(except javed akhter): share ur secret with us! we will be able to help
you.
puja: if i share the secret then that person's performance will also become bad
which i don't want.
anu ji : at this stage you should not be thinking about any one else! if that
secret is bothering you then tell us. we will help you.
javed sahab : every one has a personal life and lets not interfere.
puja if the your problem is harming your performance and not caring about you
then you also don't care about your problem. (javed sahab is great with words)

alisha said that puja's performance was giving the impression that she was putting in a lot of effort to get things correct. it was not effortless singing like emon's.
my comments about puja: . i don't remember which song she sang . sorry all the fans of puja but today puja got worst comments and if you guys don't vote for her then probability of her being eliminated is very high so guys vote for her and save her because she is a very good singer and she will make a great comeback if she is given another chance!

deepali: i don't remeber her song also! sorry! reason again the same as above. performance was not good! deepali's performance was not unforgetfull. i was waiting for it to finish. entertainment was lacking in her performance.
judges said that there was romance missing.
as far as i can remember she was the one who said in the video before her performance that she has a small crush on someone after coming in indian idol.
anu ji said that "your crush is crushing your performance. yeh sab ka time abhi nahi hai. concentrate on your singing"
mini defended deepali by saying that because the theme is romantic so everyone's romantic side is being highlighted. it doesnot mean that they are having any relationship thats distracting them.
all other judges supported deepali by saying that her song had romance missing in it so its obvious that she is not in that kind of relationship.
my opinion : deepali was the 2nd weakest performer but she will not get eliminated next week and i wish she will be in top 5.

chang: chehra hai ya chand khila hai? (saagar)
judges(except anu ji and javed sahab ): good singing but still can improve.
javed sahab : mukhda was ok! antra ka starting 2 lines not good and rest was ok!
anu ji : i had told emon that he is over confident and he is not singing well and he realised his mistake and so far has given the best performance.
i am telling you now that don't become happy because the other three judges have praised you and audience is cheering for you. i have been 18yrs in this profession and i know that this audience cheer is just temporary. audience votes for the persons who give outstanding performance. you have not given an outstanding performance.
you have given a good performance but audience demands an outstanding performance.
alisha : you are being too rude anu ji.
javed sahab: anu ji is correct.
i also meant to say the same thing but i presented it in a pleasing way and anu mallik said it in a rough way.
my opinion: anu ji is correct. chang ke fans pray that he gets back on track quickly.

ankita : suraj hua madham (k3g)
alisha : sur was not 100% but performance is good. romantic songs are not your strengths!
udit : it could be a bit better.
anu ji : you are 100% coming to the next round. don't worry. koi kuch bhi kahe main kehta hoon its a great performance, great singing and you will surely come into the next round.
javed sahab : great performance! you have done different kids of performance in every round and you have proved yourself!

my opinion: i think alisha is correct because eventhough ankita performed well still she has a voice which doesnot have the melody that is required for a romantic song.

the best performance the best singing.

udit narayan went up on stage and sang with him.
yeh amit ka hattrick tha. this the third time in a row when he sang once more on public demand.
anu ji stood up and clapped for him!

great performance and great singing!
bhaiya parleen ko toh out karne ka socho bhi mat!
i guess according to udit ji parleen will be in top5!
anu ji : outstanding performance but not flawless!
my opinion : no one can think of eliminating parleen after such a superb performance!

anu ji : 100% improvement from last episode but still there is a lot to improve. you have a huge fan following. try to make good use of it by performing well.
other judges : good can improve!

javed sahab : this is an old song and maine yeh gaana bahaut baar suna hai!
yeh gaana sun sun ke main is gaane se bore ho gaya hoon but you presented it in such a way that i didnot get bored!
anu ji : outstanding performance but not flawless! try and be among the top three performers of the day!
udit ji : you will be in top 5
alisha : great performance!
my opinion : he can become the dark horse!
