Wholesale dumbo, its not the entire Gulf we're talking about, but Gulf Air that needs to change its discriminatory policies!! Also, the airport policies have nothing to do with foreign direct relationships. What are you, wannabe political scientist/UN strategist of internationa harmony?? hahahah And, my relatives in the Gulf?? hahahah wtf? Mr. shit-brains thinks he's a psychic...But you just lost your damn credibility AS I HAVE NOT A SINGLE RELATIVE IN THE GULF, Moron! BTW, I came here for an education and if that hadn't gone as planned, I would've gone to India, dumazz...There's no way anyone even considers going to the Gulf for an education. What an azz!

Its a new United Nation's development project. ITs just a fictious story, with real names. DO NOT FALL FOR this baseless/ untrue Story. Thank you all. Carleton University Wholesale.

This story is completely baseless. Although I agree that there might be case of bad customer service. In fact, if you compare customer service of USA to that of gulf countries or for that matter even European countries ( for NEPALI) , u'll be dissappointed. BUt this story is completely false... and we NEPALI are again falling for it...shame on us....boycott garne re hhahahahahahahhhaha...........Arab ma majdoor ke Nepal Airlines le lancha ki Samsara airlines le....man u guys make me laugh....... I pity all the other sajhaites supporting the notion without analyzing the matter.....I guess same thing happened during Hrithik roshan riot in kathmandu... shame shame

Gregarious, dumb nincompoop, your kind makes me laugh! Damn, you and wholesale should both be flogged in public for all the shit that you've just mentioned here. Are you goddamn Arab world "propagandists"?? BTW, This article has been published in Nepal's major newspapers, some of our sajha members corrborate with the ill-treatment of Nepalis in the Arab world and a few of my relatives have seen the same shit unfold right beofre their eyes at their transit in Bahrain…Now you're telling me its just a farce? Wtf? Seems like the way our brethren are under the arab yoke of tyranny pleases your sadistic desires, but it makes my blood boil with rage, godamn mothafugger. Or are you those fuggin manpower agency benefactors who hoodwinked these poor Nepali peeps to go there in the first place?? Get a life and do something to promote an equal opportunity for our brethren there!! And wholesale, your university and credentials need not be posted on sajha...Get a doctorate and win a Nobwl or something and then start flaunting your education background if you really need to show what you do/did!! Goddamn wannabe heroes everywhere!!

Gulf Air customer service sucks!! I booked my parents air tickets and paid all the money and later on few days before the flight they changed the schedule and they put 16 hrs transit on the return ticket. They assured us that they will provide us the hotel and transit visa. So we were all good. Two months later just before my parents left for Nepal, I called the Gulf air to confirm the transit visa and the hotel they told me that they have confirmed both visa and hotel and gave me the confirmation code. Later on when my parents reached bahrain airport and asked the gulf air customer service about the hotel and the transit visa they were told that there is no transit visa nor any hotel booked under their name. I spend the whole day talking to Gulf air customer service trying to find out what was going on, but as soon as get hold of any person on the customer service they put me on hold for half an hour and then disconnect my line. I got really pissed when later they said they cannot do anything because the system showed that the hotel and visa has been booked but my parents were denied of both at the gulf air counter in bahrain airport. I even tried calling bahrain airport but no body picked up the phone and my old parents had to spend all 16 hours in that stupid airport without proper accomodation. The dude in the customer service was like "Sir, to tell you frankly... I cannot help you!!" I was like WTF??? I have filed a complaint at Gulf Air for the Compensation and I will go up to the CEO of the company to get this thing resolved.

Gulf air always extend transit in Bahrain by at least 6 hours. And always they provide the reason that weather in Kathmandu is bad. What the hell is this. Gulf air add these extra transit hours so that they can push other nepali passengers from other airlines like Qatar. Gulf air from Bahrain is not airplane, its worst than local bus. I never had such a bad experience with any airlines... Once again BE AWARE WITH GULF AIR SERVICE...

To tell you the truth guys, I also travelled through gulf and had the transit in Bahrain when I had the trip to Nepal last November. But to my experience, it was never like what Mr. Tulsi is saying. One thing I have noticed is that our nepali brothers run to the Plane as if they don't get seats like in a local bus and other thing is that they irritate the air hostess asking wines and beer so many times. Under such circumstances I never saw those staffs turning back to the customer. In the airport also, the staff were very helpful. In Tulsi's case there may be so many things happened... Only god knows what.... SO, without any proof I don't believe in such rumour.

I had a busy day at work and thought I would not be able to respond to this thread today. Wholsale's comments provoked me so much that I can’t wait till the end of my work day. Here is the thing, although I have never traveled Gulf/Qatar air (I am greatful), i’ve heard a lot of stories bout their customer service. That’s the reason, I don’t travel via Gulf. Mr. Wholesale, have you ever traveled in Gulf air? The article might be baseless and a little exaggerated, but how can you say that those things (treatments) don’t take place. It seems to me that you will be in a great loss (more than the airlines itself), if the airlines is banned. Why are you preaching for the airlines? Please explain

There are two forms of debate, one where the participants have different point of view on one thing and other where the debators aren't even talking about the same thing. In debates we tend to shift the focus. Wholesale and Gregarious are focusing on the validity of the event, rather than the validity of a behavior. Whether the person existed or not is not the issue here. People aren't going to protest and ban an airline for arresting a person (well maybe except for maoists, pun intended). Posters here are speaking against a behavior, condensending behavior that I myself have witnessed being bestowed upon these workers by Gulf Airlines. Do you still pity all the sajhaites or sympathize with these workers now?

I think you guys are right about boycotting the Gulf airlines, despite its generosity not to abandon daily flights to Nepal, since other airlines have already done it. Thank you all. if you conducted a survey, most people would be able to tell you the hallmarks of good and bad customer service - many would be able to give you examples from their personal experience Few years back I was to attend a seminar in The UK. As the procedure I went to the British Embassy in Nepal to apply for the visa. I filled up the form, paid the required fee, and waited there as a gentleman. Since it was a high volume time for students for the fall, there was a little long line outside the embassy. After few waiting hours We were called inside and told to wait in the hall. As we were waiting, an Enlish guy walked inside the room and looked at us with a very funny way as if were slaves trying to go to the UK for slavery. To my surprise he pointed out to one of a Napali guy waiting for his interview turn and said that he is dressed up as a Peter Pan. He sounded mockery. Since I was a highly educated person ,I asked the British not to be so rude and judge people by their appearance. He needed nothing after this. He called the security and they dragged me out of the hall to a small room filled with CCTV.I was interrogated if I was a member of some ( I wont mention here) party and trying to blow myself. I was even photographed, fingerprinted and run a background check with the Interpol. I was humiliated, disrearded just for speaking for my fellow Nepali. After a week I came clean, and a enquiry was set up. Listen guys, lets boycott Enland, lets not go to Enland. They treated me bad. LETS BOYCOTT Enland and teach them a lesson. How many of you agree? SamsaraYOU? What about PunteDamai? The above is just a false/ baseless story trying to provoke people who don’t think before they talk or write. We people sometimes react furiously without juding it, as in this thread. I was treated badly in NYC DMV. Since I had an international driver’s license I went to the DMV for a vehicle title-The window clerk behaved me so rudely seeing my Nepalese passport, he almost abandoned my application form. What are you going to do about this Samsara and Punte Damai. Its your city, I know. Even I am not preaching for the gulf air, and yes I have traveled many times with this airlines. But for me, the flight crews of the Gulf Airlines are the best in the world, accidents are rare. Wholesale Summary.

Somebody shoot this wholesale guy, he's gone nuts!! Hahahah He calls the events at the British visa application and NYC DMV as discriminatory events solely because of him being Nepalese...Wake up fool!! Hahahah This idiot's a riot. I still can't believe that Carleton University produced a half-witted nincompoop such as this sublime ignoramus!! The NYC DMV doesn't discriminate, they give shit to ALL people…I've seen whites, blacks, asians and hispanics screaming their lungs out at these government leeches. Now, the entire NYC, not only the Nepalis should ban the DMV, fool! Hahahaaa BTW, I'd give MORE shit to an irrational fool like you if I ever had to service you...And about the visa application process at the British embassy, the guy at the embassy saying that someone looked like Peter Pan? Wtf?? Hell, I've never seen a Nepali dude wear green tights and a green santa hat to an interview. GET A BETTER STORY, DAMN MANPOWER BENEFACTOR!! YOUR GREEDY LIKES HAVE MADE THOUSANDS OF OUR NEPALI BRETHREN IN THE GULF TREATED LIKE ANIMALS AND I HOPE YOU'LL SEE THE SAME FATE IN THIS LIFETIME, DAMN PUZZY FACE!! And yeah, what are you, James Bond / Sherlock Holmes or ?? Haahhahahah, this guy says he works for the UN and he is able to find out any person who came into Bahrain. Fuggin bullshitting liar, he thinks we were all born yesterday. Read the facts: The dude in the article specifically mentioned that he was on a transit and as far as any fool out there knows, in Bahrain no visa is necessary while you're on a transit! On an average atleast tens of million transit through Bahrain every year...What are you, stupid dumbfug? hahahah Just coz you're stupid as hell, don’t think you can hoodwink us by fibbing galore here at sajha. Your unreasonable/irrational/foolish likes will get blasted every time you open your mouth to prove your damner than damn idiotic points, goddamn ignoramus!! BTW, why the fug are you defending an airline whose staff, as hundreds have corroborated; PUSH our Nepali brethren even though they've paid for the tickets (DAMN, PUSH THE CUSTOMERS...Now which airline has ever done that??), the flight attendents THROW the soda cans instead of handing it when these people ask for a drink coz they're thirsty, and as per ANOTHER WITNESS, jayshriram's earlier post, he saw our Nepali folks being TREATED LIKE HORSES (and other posters too agree with this ill-treatment). WHO'S THE CUSTOMER HERE, MORON?? And your likes still go about defending these racists at Gulf Air?? Is your sadistic sexual fetish desires being fulfilled watching/hearing about the poor Nepali people suffer. If so, Damn, you need to go join the mothafuggin YCL or something, you sick sick man!!

Nice Java...BTW, I still haven't accessed my personal email so have no clue whether this has been sent to me yet...But, this email says nothing about dealing with the issue or even with the discriminatory idiot concerned. I'd really like to see something of that nature in the email instead of the regular, we are looking to do something about the issue type of shit that basically just dies out with the last correpondence.

To wholesale and other guys who said the news was baseless, I would say them to go and do some research first before putting their words in public. Yesterday I was talking with a travel agent for air tickets for Nepal. He offered me route via Baharain and I brought up this news about Tulsi. Infact it was the same agency where Tulsi got ticket from and he ( agent) said it was real incident. For sure I am not going via Gulf.
