I downloaded a programme, and by mistake I saved it on desktop. There were 100s file showed on my desktop. Somehow I deleted/unstalled. Now everything looks normal but the Recycle bin is gone can't find anywhere, I did even search, but can't located. By the way, I am using window vista, i am still able to delete files... but don't know where deleted files go. Help plz. Thank you all.

Below you will find two methods of restoring your Recycle Bin to your desktop:

Method #1:

1. Right-click an empty area of your desktop
2. Select Properties
3. Click the Desktop tab
4. Click the Customize button
5. Click Restore Default
6. Exit all windows and restart your computer

Method #2:

Note: Be sure to make a backup copy of your registry prior to making any changes.

Go to Start>> Run. Type in: regedit  [Enter]

Navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Desktop\NameSpace

Hold the mouse on NameSpace and right-click once. From the resulting menu, select Edit>> New>> Key

Copy and Paste the following Key code (including the brackets):

{645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E}

Press Enter on your keyboard, exit the registry editor and restart your system.

Go to All Programs

Do Search for  Recycle Bin

When it comes up in your list

Right click to create a new desktop shortcut
