I have couple of tattoos on myself,,,and thinking to get another one,,,
last night i had an argument with my pal about getting tattooed.. he doesn't like me or anybody  getting tattooed....
but to me it's just and art and i love it ( i don't love getting a lot of these but  2,3 is fine)...

what do our folks thing about that??

Lefthook, I have 5 tatts. The first one was a phoenix done in Auckland, NZ way back in 1996. The second piece was a ring of flames below the phoenix done in Colorado, US in 2000. My third piece was a wild rose with tribal art on my upper centre back, done in Bintulu, East Malaysia in 2001. The fourth piece was Laliguras, done in KTM in 2006. The fifth is a tribal bracelet with STR letters around my left wrist, also inked in KTM in 2007. I don't think I will stop there.

Tatts are your personal artwork. You must want to do it. Don't do it because of someone else. Or don't refrain from doing it because of someone else. Remember it is permanent. So, make sure you choose well. It must tell a story...it must mean something special. Tatts are the world's oldest skin art. Its getting better by the years.

It makes you feel different. But be warned, it can be addictive. Skin art will never die. Go for it, if you dare.

 

i am some what agree with sirus. Getting tattos don't mean  to symbolied of Janki ppl. it's up to what type of tatto you have. but i do suggest that get tatto in such place that you can hide if you need it. like upper arms,back spinal etc.

BTY i have two tatto in my two upper arms. one is Buddha's Eyes and other is "OM Mane Padme" in tibbet lipi.

Well i would not say it as a waste of money...some people take stuffs seriously and encarve it on their skin for their spiritual healing and empower them spiritually.

BUT lefthook i think you are doing it for fashion statement or something.  Well its your body, do it for fun or do it for some meaning.....

Sirus me , u r a champ 2 divert the topic and there's no reason to misunderstand the things that BM said. BM just said that if he didn't listen to his fren so is there any good reason that he might listen to us. How come there the link between tatooted ppl and their working life. I dun see any connection. I dun have the sick mentality like yours and i dun have any obligation to have a tatoo and it 's upto lefthook. At the end he is the one to make the decision not u n me .

ya im gonna get tattooed but what i was trying to know is how our folks think about this,, is it only my friend who is nagging me or most of our people think that way??
