Hey Jimmi,
Don't trust USCIS site for your current status. They don't update status regularly. One of my friends' case was denied almost two months back and the status has not been changed yet. This is really amazing. Ask with your employer, probably they might already have got letter from USCIS. Kati dhoti consultancy haru le H1B ko result nabhani kana bascha. Why dont you go and ask with your employer, if they are dhoti consultancy.

To everyone waiting for thier H1b, I called USCIS and talked to a representative. She did not give me any different news and repeated the same thing shown on their website. However, she did say that even though the current proceesing time is May 31 and my was filed in April 23 it is within the normal processing time frame. She also mentioned that due to the limited number of satffs they were overwhelmed with work.

Hello friends
I would like to symphathized on these situations. If you have tried to reach uscis customer service and there are no relevant info. pleas make a infopass requirement to your local USCIS office . Visit the uscis web site.
Another help I hope would be to check these (expedite criterias)
|
USCIS Expedite Criteria
All expedite requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and are granted at the discretion of the Director. The criteria are as follows:
- Severe financial loss to company or individual
- Extreme emergent situation
- Humanitarian situation
- Nonprofit status of requesting organization in furtherance of the cultural and social interests of the United States
- Department of Defense of National Interest Situation (Note: Request must come from official United States Government entity and state that delay will be detrimental to our Government)
- USCIS error
- Compelling interest of USCIS
If your case is at a local office at the time you need to make your emergency request, please go to the local office in person to make your request. Please be sure to take all supporting documentation with you.
If your case is at one of our Service Centers or the National Benefits Center, please call customer service at 1-800-375-5283 to receive further instructions on where and how to send your request.

I am in same situation...The extended Opt expires September end...have good longterm project but have not got approval yet. Did you try researching more on that cap gap rule?
I tried so many website and they all talk about what happens before oct 1...not one website says anything about what if the H1B application is still pending after oct 1.
I am so confused and do not want to lose my job. I have called my Advisor several times but she is so busy and has not replied to me yet. Can you call your int advisor? May be they have more info on that cap gap rule.
Because the cap gap rule is all about covering gap between OPT and H1B approval I am hopeful that we can continue to work after oct 1 till we have decision from USCIS.
If anybody has any more info on this please suggest. I really appreciate all of your time.
