As far as possible, don't try to fake your own resume. But if you don't have any other options, don't bother about the consequences ....just go for it. Sometimes, you've to lie for your own good.

What if I get 6 months contract to hire position and after 6 months they find my resume is fraud? Will that be legal issue while going full time? What will be maximum penalty? Will that stick in my background history forever?
