Keep it simple guys...I even saw some group in facebook, they were also protesting and advocating about this same top. Nepalese don't have any other work to do expect protesting and complaining. Fu(ktarded human beings.

buddha was born in kapilvastu which happen to be a independent country then. but that place is in nepal now, so........................he born in Nepal!

 

 

Nepalis don't have too much to be proud about. We have either a lifeless mass of rocks called everest to be proud about or a dead person Siddhartha Gautam who died over 2000 years who is supposed to have been born in Nepal. Did Nepal even exist as a sovereignty back then?

The modern state was formed with the Unification of Nepal by Prithvi Narayan Shah on December 21, 1768. This is the history of Nepal..that's it.

We want to protest on the comment that Buddha was born in India but we forgot the simple concept of Buddha for PEACE. I don't think Buddha ever taught us to go for protest on every single issue.

I also watched this movie and even I felt bad about this. But this issue might be issue of border boundaries when Buddha was born. I am not the history expert but what I know so far is, Siddartha Gautam was born in Lumbini Nepal and he got Buddhism in Budhagaya India. I would say, he was born in Nepal but became Buddha in India. Its like someone is born in Nepal and did Bachelors in India. However, I never heard that Lumbini was part of India ever.

May be those days there were no border boundaries between Nepal and India, or may be that time those places were not even called as Nepal and India.... I am not history expert.... But definitely it hurts us Nepali when we hear Buddha is born in India.... Sad thing to hear for we Nepali.... BUT DEFINITELY NOT A TOPIC FOR ANOTHER PROTEST...

Remember, Buddha never taught us way to protest. If we can follow the path of Buddha then Nepal will be peaceful country like before.

its nothing more than another propogranda to distract nepalese sentiments from the main issues. we'll know india is trying to prove (?) that buddha was born there. on all the foreign diplomatic visit to india, you can see the buddha's statue on the corner. they have been working on it and we................we have a government who just don't do anyting except changing the name of the street and parks. i don't know what kind of nationalism these MF maoist are tying to prove. i don't understand why this so called nationalist government is not responding? where those m.f. YCL are doing now?

they distribute citizenship unwisely and we've terai problem now. government doesn't speak anything about the lumbini issues and every now and then we heard these sheet from from indians. 601 indian agents voted to eliminate monarchy for the indian interest, we've indian citizen on cabinet, we've a CHAKKA prime minster who just can't do anyting expect speak loudly on completely unrelated issue.

MF indians r  tying to take the advantage BCOZ we neplese r not united at home itself.  Together we can but.............only problem we have now is .............................lack of unity. once we unite, we can easily dump those MF indians.

boycott indian movie..the copy cat of memento movies took some large sum of crore from nepalese people..if we still gonna spend money on hindi movies..we not helping ours..i boycotted Hindi movies long time ago ...way ago..n i always encourage people to watch ours despite there quality..but i dont' think hindi is ne betta..

Make a movie and say in the movie that Mahatma Gandhi was born in Nepal and he was a Nepalese. OK? Boycott all Hindi move including on the web site, Can you? Or just invade India, can we?

There is no concrete evidence that Buddha was born in Nepal. We believe Buddha was born in Nepal and Indians say in India. Japanese, Chinese, Korean think and have acknowledged that Buddha was born in Nepal and they keep helping and putting money on ‘Kapilvastu’.

Why do we care about who said what? We just wanna hear what we wanna hear. Common guys get back to work.

Every freaking week there is a new thread related to where buddha was born. Bhate haru kaam chaina aru...ke ke na garey bhanda hun...kera huncha buddha jaha janme pani..pahila aafu sudhrinu ni. Aama bau laai gaali garya chha ..waha bhane buddha nepal ma janmeko hunu paryo re... ghadha haru.

Are we even proud to call ourself nepali bhanya? Buddha would probably prefer to be called and Indian instead.

Technically, Siddhartha gautam was born in Nepal but he gained enlightment at Bodh gaya in India. So its on you how you take it. Buddha(knowledge) was born in India and Siddhartha Gautam was born in Nepal.
