I had seen this documentary at discovery channel long ago. After he was busted, villagers try to beat that hermit. But the film concluded that some deep meditation is giving human to practice levitation which is being done at Maharshi University, Iowa. Not the one like this hermit but still they hop high (may be more than a foot) while sitting.  It was interesting.

Is some real levitation done at Maharshi University? I would love to learn more about it, but couldn't find any significant links. Would be helpful if you could post some links, if they are available.

This one I think from MUM. Can any one from MUM tell who has achieved highest yogic flying. I wonder how would it be if they practice this on moon

this isnt levitation.. the floor is soft and bouncy and people are merely bouncing.

That is why they gave the term Yogic Flying :). But it looks like they are not so spongy. I think someone from MUM could answer better.
