I think there are plenty of job opportunities now in florida as this is summer time.

What I suggest you is try to find nepali community or nepali people who lives near by. I am damm sure there are many near by. About that if caught by what will happen thing dont worry, as long as u wont do any fraud or illegal and police wont caught u r safe.

By the way working outside in commong here which may be illegal but u dont need to worry about that. Most of the student do that.

if u find some nepali people then u can get a roomate through them and your life will be easier. At least you dont need to pay money for motel.

Your story seems little suspicious dude. You just landed here, don’t have money bla….bla… bla… how did you manage to get a computer and post your ‘story’ on Sajha. Anyway, If you have a computer access the search Nepalese around your area and get help. Or go to immigration office and tell them u r a Cuban, you get Green Card right away. Just kidding….. don’t do that mistake.

Try to find some jobs and keep touch with other Nepali people. After joining job and arrange some money, you can file for asylum, if u got that u will be legal than.

I used to be in Florida but i m not there anymore. I know there is a large nepalese community in Florida. There is a Nepalese association called Florida Nepalese Association which may actually be able to help you in your condition. that is why the association is there. They may be willing to help as  you  are in  dire need.
