notification, They'll give the visa for 3 mths initially at the airport. Make sure you have a pic of the baby for that. If baby needs to stay at Nepal for more then 3 mth, you need to go to "Adhyagaman Bivag" to get extended visa. They do not take any charge if your baby is under (16 or 18 not sure about that). They normally give visa depending on the situation. Be nice to the ppl out there, they will give at max for a year :) Hope this helps !!

3 years ago they let me go without photo. I did not have it.But they do require a photo.
