I am making plan for one week summer trip from NY--Chicago, Chicago-Virginia, Virginai-DC. What places would you guys recommend that are must see experiences?

Just one week and three cities????
thats not recommended...you will spend at least three days in travelling...
why don't you spend whole week in one city ... that would be relaxing..

arni1101: I am driving Buffalo to Chicago along Interstate 90. So I am mainly interested 2 stopovers that would be worth seeing. I am stopping in DC only because its on the way back home and if I only I get time.
