I hired Pallavi Ahluwalia law office to file a GC, not that we need to hire a lawyer but we did thinking that the lawyer will do all the application correctly and put all the needed paperwork together and file it.

To begin with they treat you different before and after they get your money. After they get your money you are not that important to them, and after getting all the paperwork that they ask for it will take more than 3 weeks to file after constantly calling them about it which they promised to do it 1 week. and there were tons of mistake on the application.

Because they are so inexperienced and careless we got an RFE after filing, which also tells me they don't know what paper works are required for the case. its been a while that we submitted our RFE and we haven't heard anything. They don't even inquire after we request, giving different reasons and excuses.

couple of our friends with the same case already got approved, and ours is still pending.

This tells me they are not experienced law firm and they don't know how to handle the case.

I know nobody wants to go through this, so its better to avoid them.

Just making my Nepali friends cautious.

I agree with you.My case was approved but had to go through a lot. I would hire somebody else.

mt77, did you get RFE too? if you did, how long did it take for the RFE response from USCIS?

I do not know the exact time but if you have submitted the documents that RFE asked on time you should be fine. And you can also check you status online. In my case, they were good with time and dead lines but they did not know what to submit for RFE .

Thank you mt77, I submitted all the RFE documents on time. my case status hasn't changed, it is still saying "Testing and Interview" even after 3 months of interview.

Diggy you should have done sone research before you went with them i just googled once and i see tons of bad reviews

sathi ho, never ever try to go Sherin Thawer too, she is totally different in radio and at her office. I am very dissatisfied with her service. I got some legal advices from both Azar and Rakesh Patel, they will talk to you straight and explain laws in details as well as they value their clients time.
