Hello Everyone, I am in need of your guidance related to .net programming. I need to read data from Sql 2008 and fill out pdf forms and store those forms as an archived data. The idea is to roll out the current database with pdf forms. The way I was thinking of doing it was to write data into word form using content place holders and converting those word document into pdfs. I know about ado.net and know how to read and write sql data to windows or web forms. But not being able to write into word files. I am new to .net and would appreciate any feedback. Thanks. Ip Man.

I have tried to do that several time. I have done the coding in Vb.net.. As i have been working for the company that is pretty strict about the policies on third party software, what we did was use report viewer for report generation. then ask the user to change it to the format then wanted excel, word, or PDF. for PDF conversion we surely might need the third party tool. Basically, i could not find the way to do that even after the long research..
