Anyone here use T-mobile service? How's your experience with it? I'm planning to switch to it from Verizon.

Just recently, T-mobile announced irresistible offer , $80 a month unlimited 4G LTE, text and call. I'm not a heavy user of phone service, am particularly attracted to their unlimited 4G LTE.

I'm paying lil over 150 to Verizon for my grandfathered Unlimited 4G, but their speed is lately degrading and at times, unbelievably slow. Since it's grandfathered, I have to pay $30 for hotspot and another 30 dollars for unlimited call. Since Verizon's 4G LTE is not anymore what it used to be, I've decided to switch and managed to order T-mobile one today.

Could you all share your experience with it? I've seen on youtube that folks are downloading over 400 Gigs a month on T-mobile network with astonishingly high speed. I'm a data addict.
Hoping to read what my compatriots have experienced with it.

$150 for one phone service?? wow dude. I am paying $118 AT&T for 10GB shared data, Unlimited Call, Unlimited Text. $118 is way enough for me.Most of the time I am connected to wireless anyway. I have CM android OS so hotspot is free (till now , AT&T hasn't figure out yet shhhh). Just curious, what do you actually do with your phone? Streaming??

I was a T-mobile customer. Their service is OK but not good as Verizon or AT&T. It depends on Area too.
The biggest advantage is their wireless calling. I was a huge fan of that feature. It basically means you could have 0 tower signal but still you can make or receive calls by connecting to your wireless network.

I am in family plan with two more lines. I pay 150$ for unlimited TTW, 5Gig on Tmobile. Have been with them for 5 years now never a complain and they are always getting better. Now Tmobile doesnt use your personal data to stream Pandora, iheart and other music apps as well so they are getting better and better.

Hello SajhaMitra,
Yeh, I heard that, but since I don't travel a lot, I think I can chew that. Thanks for your suggestion.

Bhetghat,
for that amount all I'm getting is degrading phone service and just one line. I feel like am being ripped off.

Gwachketa,
hora, am trying to check this thing out, I know I don't travel a lot, but lets see if I like it or not. The place where I live are in their hot spot though.

Tmobile has this new thing 'test drive'. They give u an iphone 5s and u get unlimited everything for a week for free. I think you should try that out.

I live in a city and i also dnt travel a lot. Just few times a year but i guess its worth the savings. While on major highways you will mostly be on edge but u will have bar so u can make calls. Tmobile is working on this so by next year all edge will be 4g.

Single line user who doesnt use much data doesnt save much on tmobile. But since you are heavy data user u will save some money. Also your saving will be quite a lot if you have multiple lines in your account.

I have total of 4 lines for only $100. all lines get 1gb of data and after 1gb they slow down your internet. and starting tomorrow (july 30) i will be getting 10gb of data. (2.5 gb each line) They are trying to compete against this 4 lines 10gb for $160 ATT campaign.

It depends where you are.I had T-mobile for 6 years and i have to say they suck(i travel very less). I live in the city but where i used to live before on the first floor i had to go outside to get service.I moved to a new apartment still same.I switched to ATT and noticed lot better. There is a reason why T-mobile is so cheap. Now i believe you can use wifi if you get no service back then they did not have that feature.Even if you are half an hour away from the city they have spotty signal.

I pay $110 a month with 2 lines w/ 2.5GB of data each and they let me upgrade every 2 year. ATT. Once ATT stop letting me upgrade every 2 year i am out.

I am on sprint unlimited plan and the network sucks. There is barely 1 bar of network. If 80 dollar then I will definitely make the switch. I hope they also give discounts for employees of big companies.
