Whats the plan ? Going to Nepal to volunteer in what and whats the field action plan ?
I am wanting to go back for a month to help out , but dont want a situation , where you land in Kathmandu just to find that there is no concrete plan of action .

I am trying to make a group of volunteers initially 30 which include Doctors and Nurses and some other people to go to rural areas and work with the necessary coordination provided by the different resources. More the volunteers the more team we will make and carry the necessary rescue mission as it is the peoples call from Nepal

What you are doing is commendable, but don't take the lack of response as our unwillingness to help. Your approach is a little misguided.

You can't come to a public forum like this and recruit volunteers without revealing your identity or showing your plan. Why would people blindly trust you? Most of us don't believe just charting a plane and going there is helpful, you gotta have a good execution plan so that you don't become a burden to the system.


If anybody has responded, kudos to the, but I doubt others will join unless you demonstrate you are serious by revealing your identity and showing your plan. That's the least to ask for.

I highly appreciate your view kiddo, our plan is to help the earthquake victims in Nepal for a long period of time. There are various effects of earthquake to the people which can be physical, mental, psychological, etc. where we will teach them how to cope with their problems and support themselves at the time of the need. Here is an overview of our planning, we will be forming different teams consisting of doctors, engineers, nurses, psychologist and other volunteers ( Team consist of 30 Person max) which will be deployed in various rural and most affected areas including gorkha, sindupalchowk. We are willing to help the people through every means. Apart from that the reason am searching for green card volunteers is because I know the problem of other people who are struggling to maintain their status here in US. I/we am hiding my identity just because I/we don't want to get the credit. One other thing you people can do is share the website through your social media so the necessary help can be made to the people immediately.
