Hi folks, Need a suggestion here. I am filing I-140/I-485 concurrently. I have all the experience letters from my h1b employers but could not get experience letter from the companies that I worked while in OPT. How important is it to get the experience letters while in OPT ? How likely is the chance that I will get RFE for that ?

how long did you work in opt ? If you have masters and have h1b experience(with letter) of more than a year , you should be fine. But I would suggest you to get at least official email from your opt manager as a proof that you work for them. The experience letter(s) that you currently have should contain job description in detail and should be similar in nature.

Are you filing by yourself or is your employer filing for you?

Was the experience you obtained during OPT used as a part of requirement for your PERM filing? If so, you will need those experience letters. If the number of years of experience were fulfilled solely based on period you were in h1, then no problem even if you don't have your experience letters for OPT work.

As far as I remember experience letter from the current company is the only one needed.
