Hi Sajha friends, I am going home in December and I have to renew my visa since it's expired. Can I make an appointment online while I am in USA? Can I change the date/reschedule if something comes up once I book a date? Thanks in advance!

You can check the available date at below: https://cgifederal.secure.force.com/?language=English&country=Nepal
If you are first time user, click on new user and register there.
When I was checking, it was showing for 30th November if I register today. I am not sure about reschedule

you can do the online appointment bro but you have show your passport and pay visa application fee at NIBL bank to confirm or book the appointment. Please visit the embassy website....

The site sajha keto mentioned (https://cgifederal.secure.force.com/) does not look credible to me. This is the official site (.gov): http://travel.state.gov/content/visas/en/general/wait-times.html/ Re: appointment: Few years ago, my family member was able to set up appointment emailing the Consular at KTM, and paid all fees inside the embassy (not bank) on the same day of interview.
