Hi friends,
Does anybody have any idea about this situation?
I have applied for both AP and TPS. I already got AP approved but still TPS pending. In this situation, can I travel to Nepal and come back to US?
Please share your valuable knowledge and experiences.
Thank you

When did you apply TPS? Mine is still pending since July 16th. But I already got EAD in first week of September.

Thanks

greatnepalilink , I think you should be fine travelling on AP.
AP is actually intend for that purpose ...usally when you GC is pending.

fdpower:
Did you mean, I can travel in AP with pending TPS? Is pending TPS similar to pending GC?

@greatnepal if u r still in other forms of legal status (f1,h1 etc ) yes u can. if u r out of status, ur chances of reentry are very slim without TPS approval.

Mr P , I think Bairaghi is wrong.
TPS / Advance parole is made exactly for this purpose where you don't have status and want to travel abroad.

When you come back all they need is the Advance parole document. You technically do not need TPS approval for that .
