I heard that there is a consultancy named Vastika in Dallas. Has anyone worked through it?
What is your review about their marketing ?

I have nothing but positive things to say about Vastika. I am grateful and proud product of Vastika. Vastika groomed me on my skillset in a matter of less than two months and helped me land a Developer job in less than 65 days since joining them. I am especially very appreciative of the staff there, especially the owner who is really co-operative, helpful and kind. I have seen the owner help a dude who showed up at Vastika with no money, nothing, and the owner bought him a laptop with his own money (since the dude was really broke and couldn't afford one), got him good training in QA and prepped him up so well that the dude was working at some IT firm as a QA Analyst in less than 1 and half months. It's been a while now, but I have heard nothing but good things about Vastika. If you are heading for Dallas area for consulting training, Vastika will be one of the best options one could have. Please see I am not affiliated with Vastika at the moment, as I have full time job- nor am I paid by Vastika to post this recommendation. I simply wanted to commend on their professionalism and exceptional consulting practices. At the end of the day, it is your decision and choice.

I also agree with athapali. But always bear in mind that they are business too. I also have met with the owner he is very helpful and will help in anyway he can.

Gauri aka Greg knows it all and he has hand full of folks working from his consultancy at Fiedality in Durham campus. They all sounded happy with Gauri's team. No Negative about the vastika

Nothing different than others than they speak Nepali. I would rather choose others doing some research that who can immediate sponsor and other requirements like training and stuff.

vaastika le greencard bhako lai train ani marketing pani garcha? are all the trainers nepalese? do they charge for greencard holders?

I called vaastika but they told me they are only giving progrmming training like java n all that and since i dont have any technical knowledge i cannot take the training.

From what I've heard they are bunch of phonies.

I called S3S Technologies Dallas they guided me extremely well. It seems they only work with serious candidates they clearly told me if you have no time for projects and assignments let's not waste time. I am very impressed as I m planning to give my 100% from my side. Thank you nep977.

Vastika SUCKS.. Period... !!!! Mr. Greg or Gauri Dai, whatever you want to call that little bas****, he is helpful personally but professionally, he sucks, and professionally vastika suck... A person who needs a job, needs a professional person rather than a helpful person... Think 100 times before you join vastika... it absolutely sucks... I am the victim...

Is it true that you have to do hardcore bargaining with Vastika for pay rate just like in footpath of Nepal????????

If you are well qualified and good at what you do, you don't need these so called "job chop shops" in the first place. But again, for various reason people go to these companies either for placement or to maintain status or for whatever you call it. Many people have successfully got placement and are working just fine. Some people can't do their job and when they get fired , they cry like a little girl.That's the reality. If someone is from accounting background and they want to get into IT from "One month IT training" well we all know how its gonna end. Bottom line is - supply and demand. As long as there is a need these consultancies will always have the upper hand. About the pay they start out with decent salary, you can't expect to get $65K+i specially if you are fresh off the boat and cry about it.

I got Job from Cubic technologies. People there are very good . Training is best with full- time teachers who helped me learn a lot. I really had good experience with them.

I went to Vastika too but ended up with Cubic , i am happy with them.

About vastika ,
Payment is on time ( make sure you verify your hours for which you got paid)
run by nepali
provides accommodation during training time if needed.

But,
they will try to put you on the class they have started training for , not on what you planning to go for. ( will try to convince saying that they will land you in job within a month or so, which is a lie)
Marketing is not done for all equivalently, they try to focus more on the people using their accommodation ( don't have to be genius to figure out why) and people they prefer.
Raise is joke. You wont get it easy, if you get it , its probably in cents.
During marketing, you can reach greg directly. When its time to talk about raise or paper processing, you will probably end up in voicemail .
There is no support at all after you land in a job.

If you need employer to file GC as well, vastika is definitely not a good option.
