Anybody has any thoughts on what happens to TPS -> H1B transition. Does one need CoS ?

TPS and H1B are different immigration status and TPS-> H1B needs CoS. I hope you know how H1B works right ? H1B under sponsorship need to be filed on April 1st only and wait for lottery result of H1B (again there are normal quota for bachelor degree and other quota for masters degree) by the end of Aug or Sept first week. If you filed H1B under non-profit organization, you do not have to go for Lottery based quota but application process is the same.

Yes I understand how H1B works. I was wondering how CoS happens from TPS (without other status) to H1B. Whether can be done here or we have to go back home.

If u were is some form of status before TPS, ur status while in TPS will be whatever status u had before TPS. So u should be able to CoS here without leaving country.

Being in TPS, you can do CoS to H1B or GC. If not sure and how to, please consult Lawyer. I have read lots of case where people getting GC through TPS. Does it make any sense ?

Yes I have also read TPS -> GC case, which is Adjustment of Status. I was just wondering what would happen to change of status. might have to leave the country and get stamped for the status or it can be possible without leaving country. Just confused on this.
