University bata VA community college ma transfer gariyo, Associate degree complete gariyo, then started OPT, again back to college for Bachelor degree, then started OPT again, employer filed H1B for past three years, unfortunately luck was not on my favor. Then again went to back to college for master and completed in Spring 2016. After a tragic natural disaster in Nepal, TPS was granted then started working for same employer as Accountant. Finally, employer is processing GC but don't know how it's going to end. Got travel document through TPS, so excited traveling to Nepal to meet parents after 5 years. I have learnt very important lesson. Most importantly, no matter what kind of jobs you do- blue or white collar. Work hard and respect your job. This is my faith to learn hardship so that no matter how much hardship I have to face in future, I feel like I am ready for it and will not give up easily.
Do not value on others success else you will never be happy and satisfied with your small achievement. Praise your work and do at your best with honesty. You won't paid off right away but you will enjoy a lot from small achievement.

म पनि अमेरिका आको १० वर्ष पुगो साथीहरु. २००६ हिजो जस्तो लाग्छ. समय बितेको पत्तै भएन. U .S आउदा बल्ल beer किन्ने उमेर पुगेको थिये आब त ३० पनि काटियो. University बाट Community College ट्रांस्फेर गरेर Gas Station मा घण्टा हान्दै पढ्दा अल्मोस्त ७ वर्ष लग्यो पढाई सक्न. क्रेडिट कार्ड सबै max out भयो tution तिर्दा तिर्दै . Graduate भएर निस्किदा अल्मोस्त 20K debth मा थिये. त्यसपछि OPT file गरेर job hunt गर्न तिर लागे. साथी भाई धेरै जस्तो I .T तिर लागे तर आफ्नो मजोर कम्प्युटर न भा को ले जान मन् लागेन. आफै apply गरेर job खोज्छु भन्ने विचार आयो. केहि समय कम खोज्दै बित्यो .
त्यसपछि एक दिन कता बाट मलाई आर्मी मा जाने विचार आयो. आब नेपाल को ताल येस्तै हो . आफु ले त दुख पाइयो आफ्नो सन्तान ले दुख न पयोस भन्न को लागि अमेरिका मा settle हुन जरुरि छ जस्तो लाग्यो. धेरै सोचे अनि यो paper को लफडा बाट बच्न सबै भन्दा सजिलो आर्मी को बाटो नै लाग्यो. अनि यो job hunt लै गोलि मारेरा भर्ति को लागि तयारी सुरु गरे. Gas Station मा घण्टा हान्दै भुडी लागेको सरिर ...सुरु सुरु मा त धेरै गह्रो भयो तर हिम्मत हारिन. घर मा बुडी ले न जौ भनेर खुब कर गर्थी तर मैले सुनिन. जिन्दगि मा कहिले न सोचेको आर्मी भैयो.
आर्मी training मा हुदा barrack को wall मा लेखिएको थियो "pain is temporary but if you quit it lasts forever ". यो quote ले मलाई आज सम्म motivate गर्दै आएको छ.

Army ma try gareko but didn't go through complete processing. It was a good experience. And I am really proud of you "A member of armed forces". Go Army. Hope you are having really good life with your wife and family. Brother, that quote is really a painful one if we quit in the middle of our journey. Thanks for the motivation.

Mero college experience bata degree dheraii important cha. Malai pani dheraii garo bhathyo for the first time in my life as I depend on myself to study. What I did was I always try to finish all the assignments as it almost covers 40-60% of grade and you learn a lot too by doing assignment. So you don't have to worry much about messing your exam unless you want grade 'A'. And it also depend on college. I completed my undergrad where most of the classes were held in the evening and weekend only and the courses were structured for adult people- most of them were full time professional people. So it was not like old school style classes. I did pretty good on my undergrad degree. Most of those professional adult people came to college to get a promotion on their job even though they have tons of years of job experience because of not having educational degree. At the end, it depends on you how much effort and sacrifice you can give to achieve your educational career. If you have made up your mind then pretty soon you will figure it out your own way to study. Once you figure it out, then you won't be an Average Student. You will be like-"Can do attitude person". So, wish you all the best and find colleges accordingly.

What about the assignments? Are they tough ? I have heard people say that its too tough. and how about the classes? Is it interactive?

Evening and weekends colleges are easier than regular day time colleges. I went to weekend college. Most students work full time so you will have light competition and easy grading.
