Need help from someone who has recently applied visa for family members in Nepal. The new system is a mystery to me. They don't want a lot of document that used to be submitted in the past. They clearly say they don't want invitation letter and all other financial related documents. Got it, but they don't say anything about documents like sponsor letter or invitor's financial/job related document. Can you please share what you submitted and if it resulted in success? I would truly appreciate it.

idk bro , I was in same dilemma couple of months before whether to send sponsor , employment, tax etc docS but I did prepared and sent just in case. Even I sent last 2 yrs tax and last 3,4 months bank account statement but my parents said consuler asked nothing about those doc. Just asked few questions like what u do, where do you work , how many children etc .I think sponser letter alone should be enough just in case otherwise you don't need other docs.

Thanks, Robwin! Anyone else? Also have you or anyone else here actually sent the documents to the embassy directly?

We did apply for a Visiting visa to one of our our family member and it got rejected. I was told the consular did not ask for any documents. He just asked few questions to her and rejected the visa. Accirding to US Immigration laws, the burden is on an applicant to prove they have fund, ties to Nepal and other responsibilities such as kids sand family. Anyway, I think they did not ask enough questions that would prove her ties to Nepal. They could have asked more if they really wanted to give the visa. You do not want to answer something that was not asked. So I think It's untelling what goes with the new process.
