Do not try to legit your visit, you do not need it and you may mess up. In Skype if he asks you to show your Kathmandu / or your city , are you able to handle such situations easily?
Do not call, once you are here do not volunteer many info to prove you have visited Nepal.

Its simple, why you think so much. Just use google voice and call from your computer. 

I was about to post but I saw Sinope's comment. Simple use google voice from laptop or App to call your manager. If he ask you, tell him, you can use google voice number from anywhere in the world.
