Ok which part of temporary status didn't you understand? It's TPS= "Temporary" protected Status means it is temporary. That means it can end at any time. for El salvador, it has been running since 2001. That's 17 years and I think 17 years is way too long for something called "Temporary". Instead of worrying about it, find some alternatives. No one should rely on it for permanent visa

Sajhamitra, Sounds like you were looking for a platform to give your thought. "Ok which part of temporary status didn't you understand?" Lol !! I asked-if it is soon to be ended. I never said it's permanent or it should never end.

Khaikhok, i'm uncertain who in the right mind would pose this question on sajha instead the answer you seek should be researched on gov sites like uscis. I highly doubt the question you pose can be answered by anyone on this platform. Sajhamitra is accurate, "IT IS TEMP" which is equivalent of impermanent.

Cp21 , dear Mr sajjamitra's lawyer I thought sajha.com was supposed to be a discussion forum. Yes I can Google answer for any issues bit that won't give any experience based suggestions and individual thoughts. Will it be extended? What are our options ? What will happen if I did that ? These sort of queries regarding TPS Nepal can only be generated and be answered here on sajha

In my analysis there are two scenarios: There will be one final extension of 18 months. TPS holders will be granted some form of path to residency along with people under DACA by the Congress.

Open border to close border means..TPS may end...What happened to Trump's wall? It was never going to happen? Since mexicans are the cheapest low paying labors that neither Canada nor Australia or Europeans can have? We Nepalese will be fine I hope....good luck to all the TPS holders in converting their status to permanent status
