Based on US custom and border protection website "CBP now gathers travelers’ arrival/departure information automatically from their electronic travel records." . Does this mean there is no worry about surrendering I-94 card since its electronic form? Just trying to understand if there is anything that we need to do for temporary visitor in airport while (departure) returning back to Nepal after short visit to USA? Do temporary visitors need to go through any type of immigration process while departure in airport?

first paragraph ignore garya ho? Foreign visitors to the U.S. arriving via air or sea no longer need to complete paper Customs and Border Protection Form I-94 Arrival/Departure Record or Form I-94W Nonimmigrant Visa Waiver Arrival/Departure Record. Those who need to prove their legal-visitor status—to employers, schools/universities or government agencies—can access their CBP arrival/departure record information online.

I have a similar query. I have a paper sheet i94 which i got from my i797 (H1b Approval). What do I need to do with that? Surrender it, or keep it with me when I depart the States next month?

When you check the bags to the airline you surrender the paper I94. Once they scan you passport your departure is recorded.
