Do you guys remember yomari.com??? I used to be a regular visitor at yomari. Infact I think they were amongst the first nepali websites. The very first nepali community must be yomari.com I think, or maybe catmando.com I wonder why they didnt continue. catmando.com was the first to put news from nepal on the net, way before nepalnews. nepalnews used to be south-asia.com (the mercantile site).

The first nepali hip-site I knew of was: www.sukulgunda.com and then nepalchat.com. It got so popular that some indian guy ho ki kasle ho bought the site from the original owners kyare...and tried rebuilding it...but I guess it never hit it big.

Then came www.muncha.com the first nepali online store.

There was a very popular Nepali chat site in 1998-00 it was called nepalsearch.com . All nepali people used to flock to that website with different aliases, as messengers had not picked up back then. It was really addictive and fun. There was this girl named Nishana who was really popular. Hey where the hell are you these days?

wow! didn't know there were that many nepali websites. Good to know. What about MIRC chat using Dalnet Server? It was pretty popular 5 years back. Anyone used that?

Yah nepalsearch was a popular chat site too....actually the first nepali chat site i went to was nepalnews chat site....but they closed it down after a while.

I used to be a regular at nepalhomepage.com chat.....there used to be this guy called kool , naina and tarana in there. I wonder where they are now.....wonder if they are in sajha too...!!!
