I've seen different kinds of people, and you're free to disagree with my observations.

Bahuns, newars, rais, gurungs or any other castes. Few of us whichever group we belong to try to favor people from only our groups or relatives. NEPOTISM.

Bahuns in the administrative posts have maintained to dominate these areas. I'm not saying that all of them are racist; but some are definitely. There's an office in kathmandu where the head is rai or gurung, and you can see the number of people with that caste in that office. Newars are no exceptions. There's another office, where to be favored not only you've to be newar but to be from that particular place of newars. What is all this about?

Do we think that all the problems are gonna be solved if only our caste is the only caste and all other castes don't exist? Are there the best people only in my caste? Certainly at least not in my caste.

Why is there so many divisions? Division of castes, religions, languages, origin, places?
Why've we been biased so much?

I know I'm biased too. Even here in america, I see biased people to be more from our own continents than people here. Asians seem to discriminate more against asians - just my observation.

Now another issue of pahadis and madhesis? What is this?

When I come to sajha, people seeking for their own groups, like schools, towns, toles. Fortunately or unfortunately, I've not belonged to any of these threads. I find myself lonely that I don't belong to any of these groups.

Why is there so much division? Aren't we human being first before being of any particular religion or caste or place or being nepali first? This thing called division is very bad and separates people and creates conflicts and meets from people meeting with each other.

Another issue I forgot to mention - Rajabadis and ganatantrabadis; Now they can't stand each other.

For god's sake, let's live in a harmony.

The issues of racism will not vanish until it's there in your heart and until it's practice. It's a fact that lot of people here protest about racism when they are attacked just to be politically corrent, but in heart they are the most racist.

That's why Nepal is going down the drain, and will mix with India. Prachanda Murderer and Girija Chor will make sure this will happen. Whether you like it or not.

In Nepal currently has....... more than 50 ethinc race and Native indigenous tribes.

where is thire political or representative for their own communities?

How they supposed to develope their social life.. if they do not get proper education, access on government employment and access on political participation?

Where is Equality, Balance and True Democracy systems in Nepal?

Look at all Parliament Representative members....60% Bahun, 37% Chettris 3% only other race people.

Democracy in Nepal failed from the begining.

provide equal oppertunities in Education, government employment, political participation and social activities.

Equality is the true and key of democracy.

Nepal's terai has rampant dowry system but the hills and mountains do not. So, wouldnt it be better if people from terai marry their daughters to hill people. That would do double good, reducing ethnic tensions/discriminations while saving them from dowry system.
