Well quoted Marley on this one. Lets not judge the King so harshly now. Thrones all around the world has seen power struggles coups and regicides, Nepal being no exception.
I think he looks sad cuz his plan failed. He put so much effort and thought into it, but eventually it didnt work out.
While there's a lot of people who think gyane's usurped the throne and had plans to make Nepal worse off than before, I feel that Gyane was angered that his brother was taking things so slow. The maoists trouble, the Indian invasion into Nepal's economy, the dams, everything. Gyane might have felt he could bring swift retribution.
I donot believe that a king will EVER have intentions of harming his country and his subjects.
Unfortunately, his dickhead son proved to the public that we had an unlikely Crown Prince as candidate. So the masses conclude, like son, like father, which is a facking wierd assumption because it should be the other way round.
