Just see how many people really think the police is not beating the kid.. but rather threatening him to make sure he stay at home where he is suppose to be. There is no visual evidence that the police men are beating the kid.... please don't give me the shit that the little fellow is crying... i think u really need to check your freakin eyes... I can only see the kid shouting.. i don't know how you saw him crying!!!!! Don't exaggerate brother....
And if you think educated and civilised people are the real problem of Nepal (and not Prachanda), then you are seriously retarded. Maybe its time you get some "danda" from those policemen as well... maybe you will start seeing the whole picture.. not just focus on one thing with a conservative mentalty.. and make irrational comments based on ur limited and insufficient knowledge.
Bujhya ho loure-kancha?...

sayami
how many of these unfortunate people did you or anyone else here in Sajha knew personally?
They were poor people that the political parties used for their personal agenda. The kid got beaten, but the person who provoked a kid to go and protest was probably busy sending his children to some private boarding school.
What do you expect the common cop to do? Get stones on their own head so that the communists can break all infrastructures of the country? What has Gyanendra done? What’s his offence? Not paying electricity bills and using state funds for personal agenda.
I would rather have one Gyanenda taking peoples money rather then 55 of them (gyanendras) raping the country.
Lastly, even the cops have a family and they want to go home without beating anyone. But they have to use force when things go out of hand. It’s the politicians who sold themselves to the Maoists who should be penalized and not the king who at least tried to save Nepal from harms way.

People love politics, as illustrated by the pics here, and there's nothing wrong with that. But, having just been back from Nepal and being reminded of the children's plight, here's my own pic with the reality that instead of being in school, they're trying to make a buck. It was on Buddha Jayanti, day off at school, but I doubt that they go to school at all. . .
