anybody from university of texas Arlington ? can anybody tell me the yearly tuition please?

Not that I am complaining, but just for a record, UTA has probably larger number of indians than any other schools. I even heard that it feels like you're in Bihar or something when you're in UTA. ha ha!

Oh and Rythm? Didn't know UTA students are so poor (or careless?) in spelling lol! Think guys think! ha ha!

go to any mechanical engineering classes in UTA, all students along with professor will be Indians.

Dont worry much about the instate "quota". Give it a shot, coz you still have a while for fall semester to begin. The "quota" for fall is larger than that for spring.

As far as research/teaching assistantships are concerned, you have better luck if you are a graduate student or PHD. Some undergraduate research positions are available, but you would need to "know" your professor before getting appointed (generally speaking, assuming you are no Einstine). You can leave that part for your post admissions checklist.

Im a student at UTA and quite frankly dont think its worth $7000 a semester. If you get a scholarship and end up paying around 3k a semester, Id say thats a fair bargain.

Which college is best among UTA, UDC and CUNY? Let’s say 3 individual graduates from 3 different colleges, who is recognized better while hiring......... I think UNT and CUNY are same rank while UDC and UTA match same category

As far as national ranking is concerned I beleive they all fall under 3rd tier universities. However, I think you should base your judgement on a particular department/major. I dont know about the other two, but UTA has a good nursing program and its engineering department is pretty good too. UNT has got a good Business school. Overall, I think the best school around the DFW met

How can you compare UTD wtih UTA? Whereas the total population of UTD is 14K, almost equal to the Intl population of the UTA, the latter was founded mor than 65 yrs before the UTD.

You seem to be funny...14k international student in UTA... That's one of the biggest joke I heard so far.. UTD is one of the fastest univs. in US... please make a note of this...

UTA is one of the nicest colleges in TX. People there, including the academic and non-academic faculty and staff are very helpful and cooperative there. I'm proud to to have been a part of such a great college!

The academic advisors are friendly and helpful as well who have a very good understanding of student problems like transfer courses problems and degree course plans. They will help you out up to their extent. So, go for it and you will be glad you did it!
