Well, its quiet funny but at the same time, its little hostile to connect religion to comedies.
i guess in a country like America where comedy is a part of day to day life n they dont even regret makin fun of their own pope n president, i see it quiet justified.

what i dont like is when shes stripped off her title, one documentry maker jumps in and helps to reinstate her back to her title.Dont we all have our own rules? i mean if shes not allowed to travel(i believe shes too young to understand) and some folks make here travel(for some cheap publicity), then she lost it, time for new kumari then.Good luck to the old one..

.Well, looks like dhanu rashi doesn't know anything about Stephen Colbert. By making himself look like he's attacking Nepal, he is actually "educating" his viewers about Nepal and the goddess Kumari. If you ask me, Kumari being on the Colbert Show is actually a good PR for Nepal.

i hope this will educate americans where nepal is...

this is the reason why I agree with Kingofsajha........
we complain a lot....if somebody says something to us .....we take it so into our heart that we burn public properties and lives( like in hrithik roshan case)...

It is very funny. Why can't people take the show for what it is. Why do you have to make it personal? This is one of the reason why I hate Nepalese people.

yeah it was kind of funny when he was making fun but when he get into religion and began comparing this shit white trash religion and our culture it was't funny at all, and i bet colbert has never had a yak cheese in his whole life, just got that fu(king chance to name a sweet icecream in his name which is sure to increase fat in our body. So better watch what this conservative assss says about nepal and yeah he did some publicity about nepal too and thats good

Stephen colbert is funny , and he said what was humorous . It was funny , and it wasn't offensive .. Get a life guys who feel it was offensive to the country , religion and culture ... Well ! its comedy central , and thats what he does for a living ( make people laugh ) and if our country and culture , so be it . This guy does not spare anyone , so rather than trying to take offense to it , juss feel the humour and enjoy his words .
His comments made me laugh , and stephen rocks .

Stephan Colbert was not dragging a bush or a bill o’reilley...he was talking about something which the people of this part of world are not familiar with...im not surprised if few of them will start believing people in Nepal share their yurts with the animals....

. Here's a memo to Thopa: Stephen Colbert is not a "conservative ass". He is a liberal democrat. He is satirizing the rightwing nuts in his show by posing as a conservative. If you are a regular watcher of the show, you would get the joke.

First,
It's really weird to have a living God. I know it's our culture and all that shit, but it's weird,may be not for us. Look from their point of view.
Second,
Where is Nepal anywhere? Nobody knows about us. We do not have to much bargain to ask for. Nobody knows a shit about us. At least we're getting some publicity by the show. So I think people like Thopa should shut up.
Third,
It's just a comedy show.The whole cast of Daily Show has become a real mean of journalism for liberal peopel people in the US, funny to say that.
