just now i heard from image news that nepali congress and nepali congress democratic has reached on agreement to reunited................tomorrow they will declare the unification .........it is very good news to all the nepali democrats ..................now lets hope that united nepali congress will further work for democratic republic of nepal

कोइरालाले एकता प्रकृयालाई अगाडि बढाउन दुवै पक्षको कार्यदललाई निर्देशन दिएका बताइएको छ
सत्तारूढ घटकहरू नेपाली कांग्रेस र नेपाली कांग्रेस (प्रजातान्त्रिक) का नेताहरुले कांग्रेस एकता अब सुनिश्चित भएको बताएका छन्।
बुधवार बिहानैदेखि आफ्ना विश्वासपात्रहरुसँग छलफल गरेका कोइरालाले बालुवाटारस्थित सरकारी निवासमा प्रजातान्त्रिक कांग्रेसका सभापति शेरबहादुर देउवासंग बेग्लै वार्ता गरेका थिए।

त्यसपछि कोइरालाले देउवालाई सामुन्ने राखेर दुवै दलका पदाधिकारी एवं एकता कार्यदलका सदस्यहरुसँग छलफल गरेका थिए।

कोइरालाको ‘सिग्नल’

नेपाली कांग्रेस (प्रजातान्त्रिक) का उपसभापति प्रकाशमान सिंहका अनुसार कोइरालाले केही साता यता अघि बढ्न नसकेको एकता प्रकृयालाई अगाडि बढाउन दुबै पक्षको कार्यदललाई निर्देशन दिएका थिए।

उनले भने, “हाम्रो दल र उहाँको तर्फबाट केही कुरा स्पष्ट पार्नु थियो। त्यो भएपछि कोइरालाले एकता अघि बढाउन ‘सिग्नल’ दिनु भयो।”

उनका अनुसार अब दुवैपक्षको कार्यदलले जिल्ला, क्षेत्र र गाउँ समिति तथा भातृ संगठनहरुको टुंगो लगाएर नेतृत्वलाई त्यसबारे जानकारी दिनेछ।

एउटा भरपर्दो सुत्रका अनुसार केन्द्रिय पदाधिकारी र संसदीय समितिको बारेमा भने नेतृत्वले निर्णय गर्ने सहमति भएको छ।

दुवै पक्षबीच हाल भएको सहमति अनुसार एकिकृत दलको सभापति गिरिजाप्रसाद कोइराला नै हुने छन्।

कार्यवाहक सभापतिको जिम्मेवारी उपसभापति सुशील कोइरालाले पाउने र उनीभन्दा मर्यादाक्रममा माथि रहने गरि नेका प्रजातान्त्रिकका सभापति शेरबहादुर देउवा चाहीं केन्द्रिय सदस्य मात्र रहने सहमति भएको बताइएको छ।


अहिलेको प्रकृया हेर्दा लाग्छ छिट्टै एकता हुनेछ

यसअघि एकता प्रकृयाप्रति असन्तुष्टि र अविश्वास जनाउँदै आएका नेका प्रजातान्त्रिकका नेताहरु पनि बुधवारको वार्तापछि बढी नै आशावादी देखिएका छन्।

उपसभापति सिंहले भने, “अहिलेको प्रकृया हेर्दा लाग्छ छिट्टै एकता हुनेछ।”

अन्य नेताहरुले सकेसम्म दुई-तीन दिनभित्रै अन्यथा एक हप्ताभित्रै एकिकरण घोषणा गर्ने तयारी रहेको जनाएका छन्।

नेकाका सहमहामन्त्री डा रामवरण यादवले पनि त्यो दिन त्यति टाढा नरहेको बताए।

उनले भने, “अब त समय नै छैन। २० गतेसम्ममा त हामी कुनै हालतमा जिल्ला जिल्ला गैसक्छौं। एकता त्यसअघि नै हुनेछ।”

बिहीवार हुने दुवै दलको केन्द्रिय समिति र संसदीय दलको बैठकमा एकिकरण बारे निर्णायक छलफल हुने बताइएको छ।

पाँच वर्षअघि देउवाले संसद विघट्न गरेपछि कांग्रेस विभाजित भएको थियो।

राजतन्त्रको भविष्य निर्धारण गर्ने भनिएको संविधानसभाको निर्वाचन नजिकिँदै जाँदा राजसंस्थाको बारेमा निर्णय नगरिसकेका दुई कांग्रेसले एकिकरणपछि त्यसबारेमा निर्णय गर्ने अपेक्षा गरिएको छ।

त्यसपछि संकटग्रस्त राजसंस्थाको भविष्यका बारेमा अनुमान गर्न थप सहज हुने भएकाले पनि ती दुई दलको एकिकरणप्रति राष्ट्रिय र अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय चासो रहेको काठमाण्डूस्थित हाम्रा संवाददाता बताउँछन्।

NC unity taskforce holds crucial meet

KATHMANDU, Sept 5 - A crucial meeting of the Nepali Congress (NC) taskforce on unification with the breakaway NC-Democratic is currently underway at an undisclosed location.

The meeting began at 10 this morning is expected to finalize unsettled issues, said source close to the Prime Minister.

According to the sources, the NC taskforce left the ongoing central working committee meeting of the party to focus on the unification process as ordered by the Prime Minister and NC President Girija Prasad Koirala.

Koirala had voiced concerns over the “delayed unification” process, sources added.

Last week, the presidents of both the parties had reached an agreement to merge the parties ahead of the November 22 Constituent Assembly elections.

After a vertical split lasting almost five years, the Nepali Congress and breakaway Nepali Congress (Democratic) earlier last week finally agreed to unify under tremendous pressure from party rank and file for unification well before the upcoming the polls.

The unification announcement was expected to come last Wednesday, however, due to various reasons the process have been protracted for a long time.
