Hello all!

I have been thinking about getting a personalized license plate.  I am running out of ideas!  I tried "Nepal" and other basic keywords but most of them are already taken here in Texas.  Could you guys suggest me something?  It has to be a six-letter word and I would prefer something that Nepalese can recognize it as a Nepali thing.  Imagine, you see a car in front of you someday and go...."Dang...I had suggested that name!"

What abt Buddha

I thought about Buddha but Buddha could relate to Nepal, China, India, and many other countries.

Cant you just stick to the regular licence plate number?

unknown guy, it's got nothing to do with showing off.  I am just trying to personalize something that I have earned and make myself feel better.  If I really wanted to show off, I would have chosen something a lot bigger than a license plate.  Think of it as you customizing your cellphone ringtone.  Don't think too big or too deep 'cause there is no reason to.

There is a difference in a cellfone and a car.

A car you drive and people see

cellfone? unless you hang it on your belt like Puerto Ricans with some flashing lights, no one sees it.

The idea of personalized license cost you $40/year in Texas. Why don't you send that $40/year to balmandir in nepal or briddharasarm in pashupati or maiti nepal or some other needy place with your name.(If recognization as nepali is so important to you). May be 20/30 or 40 people in that place always remember you instead here by few people in the nepalese party.

why dont you contribute excess dollars to some charity rather than getting a personalised lisc. plate.  regular plates are good enough.

Why are you guys so uptight about me trying to spend $40/yr on this license plate? Don't you guys go eat out every once in a while and drink beer every weekend? I, for one, don't drink at all. So, it's less than what some of you spend on liquor every year. Dang! All I am asking is for suggestions.
