Anybody has got the receipt number yet?? I am intensely waiting for it and totally frustated. I had applied in master quota through premium processsing. I am completely losing my hope. I don't have STEM degree what to do if i am not selected.

I can understand immense pressure you guys are going through, though I have not applied this time, I will be facing same situation in 2 yrs or so ! It's really frustrating to work hard in studies, after knowing that you have to be lucky in lottery too.

well, two years down the road, things might be different.  i was unlucky one time and got lucky next time.  so, keep your hope alive guys.  for those who has masters degree, chances of getting H1b is almost 80%, so dont panic.  i know it is really frustrating when years of hard work ends up in lottery. 

As per my law firm, USCIS are randomly sending confirmation receipt for advance degree quota and regular quota. In that case they are processing 85,000 at once and even if you assume that the Premium processing are 40% of them that will be almost 35,000 applications. So, as per him we will need to wait atleast till next friday before we start panicing as the USCIS has 15 days starting from 14th april that will be upto 29th. Today is only 18th so don't panic. Enjoy your weekend.

One of my friend got the receipt yesterday. Good news he is nepali. I am corssing my fingers.......

I am also in Master's cap and Premium processing. I haven't got my receipt yet. Still have little bit of hope.

I got mine Wednesday. I had file premium process.

I got mine yesterday. He processed mine by normal processing but the lawer was saying that could be their mistake. He got mine with his other premium processing applicants.

I work for immigration Law firm and till date we have received two receipt in email for Premium Processing H-1B Cap out of ten.

What is meaning of reciept? Is that accepted or only filing reciept? We have applied in Master's Cap for premium processing and no one has any information up to now.

Its strange, my lawyer said that we cannot file premimum process for undergrad 'coz they are in cap. But we can upgrade our application to premimum processing once its selected in lottery........ so, I dont know what the hell is going on???????/ damn it.. I dont want to live my last 5 yrs life again... (working at night and school at day)............update guys!

I had applied for master's cap with premium processing and I just got the receipt notice this morning. Also my case has been already approved.

As per my attorney, those applicants with premium processing will be receiving notice, if selected, till April 29.

 

Does the receipt notice indicate that the case was selected??

Notice itself is the indication of your case being selected and they send us the case number in that notice, with which you can track your case status.

I got mine today.

Was it under masters or general quota? Normal or premium processing?
