Yes, I been to Pulchowk and private college, we have never positive thoughts, we are happy if someone is unhappy, Pulchowk is creating lot of difficulties without any logic and trying to be smart. Even if I went pulchowk sometime ago, every one in this world has right to gain educaiton, either in public or private colleges. What contribution has given pulchowk college except generating unemployed engineers and so do the private colleges are doing, we haven't changed a lot, our infrastruture is not changed a lot from like 50 years ago. So stop monopoly from Pulchowk, if need make some regulations by government.

Don't panic victim, IOE pulchowk always sucks private engineering college in the final exam... But IOE topper announced always from private engineering college. They don't provide quality education to thei'r engineer... One computer engineer from IOE pulchowk even don't know about how to reverse string ..... that's धब्बा of that institution.

I'm also one of the victim of IOE. But it's like government of Nepal, No one can do anything...

 I have one question to victim. If the student from private colleges struggle to pass the exam, and teachers from pulchowk campus sets the question paper and blah blah then how does  time and again have the student from private engineering colleges has topped.

Second thing is , The fact of the matter is  student from pulchowk campus are generally been better than private colleges by seeing the overall performance because there is better pass rate at pulchowk campus.

Third thing is,  same teacher teaches in private colleges and pulchowk in many subjects. It is not difficult for a student from a private college to know what is being taught s  at pulchowk campus  and obtain the class notes from their friends in pulchowk . If you say,  teacher from pulchowk campus gives better marks to studnet from pulchowk and are stricter to the student of other colleges than how does some of the privated colleges have produce few of the class toppers.

Probably, no quiero doesn't know what is going on? I have been to Pulchowk and private both part. I am working here is USA and I am equally competent too. Yes, definately Pulchowk guys might be little bit smarter than private students but there is no limitations and no line to say who are smart or not, just evaluating in entrance exam or other, Puchowk is doing monopoly and many instances, it had ruined life of lot of private college student.

NoQuiero, may be you did not study  on TU Private Engineering college or you may be one  brilliant   student who judges performance seeing only a VERY FEW students . It seems true that if you became a principal of a school,you just want 1 or two student to be topped and rest of them fail??? I have also known the Topper from TU private campus who has got  highest mark in some of the subjects  and that mark is  the lowest mark of IOE student. And how hard it is for all students you don't know at all. Probably I could have written this thread only to students belonging to TU private engineering colleges who know real problem.

I am not concerned with IOE or private college , but my understanding to someone (quoted as prabin)'s baseless claim that private college students are more laborios bla bla..justifies your saying that u r victimised. I will hardly believe anyone who can compete in entrace exam at IOE will go to private collegge leaving IOE,so they , students at Pulchowk,IOE are ultimately talented, laborious and deseving good ad those who are jealous of it and cannot compete blame them, as i remeber a saying in nepali" aafno jiu ko bhaisi nadekhne aru ko jiu ma jumra khojne' may be there are few students at other collegges as well but as u say sometimes they are toppers and again you say you ar victimised by professors at IOE, I have hard time to believe you. You are not different fom a commmon nepali blaming others for own weaknesses.as u didnot show any proof here that you are really good and victimised , you have just said based on doubts, no facts..

 

timer,I agree with you because you r very true. I was also a student from TU private engineering college but I transferred my courses on fourth year just because of frustration after studying till 3rd year . I won't say I am an excellent student but  I would say I am above than average. I  already earned  US Engineering diploma here after transferring from Nepal. I started this thread because one of my close friend of Nepal is still suffering on that and still they have not changed system. I am not saying anything to Pulchowk student,I know they are smart; also I would like to mention that there are full paying student too in IOE. The IOE  management,exam control division,the way they bias,check papers,exam systems is very bad like our government.

Victim, Can you email me in which university did you transferred? One of my close friend also suffering from that IOEtantra. It's been 5th attempt for 'Digital Signal Processing' but he'd still failed that subject and want to transform to US universities. Could you please send me transfer procedure/university, so that I can help him.

Ok, proof, I can say proof. I finished intermediate in pulchowk and bachelor from private college. In my first year first part statics, they asked each and every question what they have done in class but even I was former student of Pulchowk and I had all the notes from Pulchowk from my friend, I didn't realize that they will be asking each and every line from their notes. That is not fair, I will challenge all the pulchowk student and any one, any one in this engineering can be failed easily in the system like ours, where we are trying to rememberize the subjects without learning a lot, I can challenge that even the new lecturer can be failed easily because I can be lecturer and I know how much I leard, so don't do monopoly there making questions by their hands and failing the students in private colleges who has to take that exam. They are just only trying to fail students in private colleges but in USA each and every student are judged by professors and they know the strength and weekness, nepal marking starts from 32 and add how much you want, Here in usa start from 100 and substract how much you want, so stop monopoly from pulchowk college, they are not smart, just to rememberize is not smartness, develop your nation and make equally competent with this world is smart, not marking and failing private students

 

Okay different men has different opinions. I just wanted to share how other students belonging to private TU Engineering institutions feel about their study.How difficult did they feel on studying at TU's affiliated private Engg. campus. My thread does not concern with IOE student but only with IOE,pulchowk administrations,teachers etc.

Pulchowk prati mero pani asimit grida chha, they are kasai, they are intellectual kasai, they kill private college people, just give 32 and that is D here, any one can get D in usa if you go, try and work hard, you can ruin the life of people never givig 32, Pulchowk mero lagi sadhai mari sakyo, bhalai ma kina gayera tya padhauna naparos bholi, pulchowk murdabad

hey not in he exam actually i came first out of the exam hall and guess what i scored 37% IN IOE AND 25% in KEC so it wasnt so bad and today here i am at sydney australia not worrieng about those enge...... colleges ...enjoy till u can then u will forget all this........... Hello, you are talking like u alone created the microsoft. If a person does not know to reverse a string it does not simply mean that he is poor at study. It really upset me people with such narrow mind exists these days.

hello all I have recently secured 292 rank in the IOE examination.I couldnot study civil engineering(full fee) because most of the seats was occupied by the special provision for different caste like dalit and madeshi. is it fair ???
wont this harm the entire career of a poor guy from chhettri community like me.I am so upset regarding this provision

I am all against this reservation thing but it is better to give reservations in education than in LOKSEWA - 2 cents.
poor guy and full fee- LOL.
