You cannot even sit for the VCP exam unless you take the VMware certified instructor based class. I did it in NYC. It wasn't that hard at all.

Yep!! I'm thinking of taking it online before the exam.. Do you have home lab setup for EX 2.5 ??? Any materials that you can provide would be appreciated.. Thanks for the replay also..

ESX 2.5 is old, you gotta know 3.5. And as I said before, if you have a hands on experience with creating virtual host and its different configuration, knowledge about p to v migration, different VMware best practices with SAN and NAS products, VMFS and datastore expertise, etc..You should be fine just study the materials you did it in class.
