Do we need to submit the general IELTS Score, Police Report and other documents all at the same time?

Do we need police reports from Nepal as well as from all states of US that we resided in past for more than 6 months?

It seems like it will take more than 2 months just to gather all the required documents before applying.

Any suggestions please?

Hi nepal1 2 3 4:

Go through the 38 high-demand occupations.. do you fall under any one of them? Check the NOC Code (4-digit). You must be able to claim minimum of 1 year experience in any one of these 38 occupations, else you are not eligible to apply.

You can further understand what are the type of job titles included in each of these codes. Go to this site and know about the 4-digit code, its job titles and duties etc.

http://www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/NOC/English/NOC/2006/Welcome.aspx Use the QUICK Search at the left side.

Hi All,

Seems like you guys know a lot about Canadian immigration, I felt like dropping few of my confusion. I'm planning to apply for Canadian PR through AINP program. I'm in H1B status. I just got married few years back and my wife is out of status currently since last 7 years. Browsing through the IME008 forms, I found I need to fill up her status too. How will this affect the whole process? Have anyone gone through same situation ? Any suggestions? I've found some of the forums bragging that they are almost sure my spouse status does not affect the whole process. Is it true?

Thanks

It's not quite clear what you are talking about?

You mean you got married to a girl who was out of status (for past 7 years). You married her 2-3 years ago.. which mean you got married to her while she was still out of status? Is she nepali? When you fill up the forms you can still pretend that she is now living in her native country (not USA).. can't you? And let the processing of PR application take its course... how about that?

Selling liquor to minor is not an criminal offense.... for an asian guy like you and me it's hard to guess the age of the customer.. so it's quite understandable that you didn't ask for the ID before selling liquor to that chump. You paid fine and that's done.. it's one time happening.. don't worry about it. This is something like you getting traffic tickets for speeding.. ha ha...

You don't have to mention in the PR application form about this incident at all.. be assured !!

(P.S. I am not a lawyer)

Thanks Ved555 for your response! You exactly understood my situation! However, I have two concern if I follow your  suggestion. If they ask for Bibaha Praman etc. I can't even show them because hamro bihe yetai bhayeko thiyo! Baru maile  ke sochdaichhu bhane ahile eklo bhanera lekhne bhaye pachhi uslai afno des ma gayera bihe gareko jasto dekhaune!
But only one thing I wanted to know is that if this really is not going to be problem for Canadian Immigration, I don't want to lie. If everything goes fine, I don't even want to come back to US. I have been  through lot of shit already!
I was kind of researching few forums which says If she entered legally in US ( which she did), Canadian immigration does not care about that.

However, I just wanted to find some people who went through same situation and got Canadian's PR successfully!

Thanks

Do they look for the proof of occupation later in the interview?

I think, If they doubt about your paper, only then they will call you for interview. Otherwise, if you submit with strong documents you don't have to give the in person interview.

Instinct:

It's up to you to take a chance.. or else.. you can avoid possible hassles simply by pretending that your wife currently is living in Nepal. Your marriage certificate is from USA.. fine.. but then you can say your wife went back to Nepal.... I imagine that since she is out of status for last 7 years, she must have new nepali passport.. so simply send photocopies of first few pages of that passport.

AINP program is still ON... google AINP !!

adjusting to Alberta... are you kidding? you don't want to live in NEpal.. does it make any differnece where you live since you have to apply for Canadian PR because USA is screwing these days !! You have no choice bro... don't worry.. human beings can adjust to any new environment.. believe me.. if Zambia is the prosperous country would you attempt to immigrate there? ha ha.. think positively..!!!

Hi Ved555,

Thanks a lot for your suggestion! I'm just researching on pros and cons!

<<adjusting to Alberta... are you kidding? you don't want to live in
NEpal.. does it make any differnece where you live since you have to
apply for Canadian PR because USA is screwing these days !!>>

Probably you are both right and wrong. The reason is I'm aware of hard work no matter where I go and of course get to know some prejudiced people in foreign land! That's the rule of whole world! However, here my concern is freedom of mobility! If I get the PR in Canada, we can go to meet our friends and families and come back to make money!
In the current situation, I don't want to go back to Nepal for good since I still have a hope that I can do better here! Of course,  my final destination will be Nepal when I die after decades if  nothing fatal happens to me till then! haha!
Please, don't feel that I'm mad at you! Not at all! I'm just writing my feelings! What would you choose if you had to choose between  a good paying job with a bit of hope and Chaos?  Where would you like to raise your kids?
Anyways, I'm not trying to disrespect your views; this view entirely belongs to me!
Thanks

Alberta is OK for six months.. and not good for winter 6 months...

Try British Columbia where climate is better and you can find much asian flavor (sometimes too much chinese and punjabi flavor  ha ha).

Good to know that you will get Canadian PR under AINP program.. I think your choice should come only when you get job offer.. and where ever that may be you will have to accept.. unless you have loads of savings and live without job but o your savings for long time.

Hi Dipulata,

Since u have applied for AINP program can you let me know how is PIMS verification done. Nowadays, the consulate requires PIMS verification rather than I-797 as a proof of work. Bu i don't know how its done?

Good luck!!

yes, to Sydney, Nova Scotia in Canada. they review your application for eligibility and if they find everything ok then you will have to submit the other supporting documents to Buffalo etc.
